Hey, if you use Elmer's or tacky glue instead of hot glue and save the hot glue for the edges, the end result comes out smoother in texture and you have more time to work with it.

I personally perfer to take one big piece of filt instead of 3 pieces, because you wont see the lines in between!

I’m going to hopefully be making a sea wolf mask soon enough, so this will really help! Especially with the muzzle and felting. I’ve done long ears once before, but it’s still hard. This has helped a lot!

Guys don’t Worry abt the wrinkles it’s okay. As soon as you paint it you don’t notice it. When I felted my mask i started crying cuz I was so mad abt the wrinkles but then my bestie told me to keep going and that helped so now I’m so thankful for my bestie that she told me to keep going. Don’t give up! And if you think your mask is gonna look ugly just keep going until it’s done to rate if it’s too ugly and if you would try again or keep it. If you don’t know then just keep it and maybe and some more accessories or repaint it. Have a good day and good luck with your mask

I would do this if I wasn’t lazy lol I just glue it, then cut the felt until it’s the same size as the mask and fold and glue down the parts that are still sticking out lol ❤

I used wool felt, and now im scared to paint it because im scared the acrylic paint will clump up and it wont look good, it would look chunky and and become loose and wear out and come off

Is it okay to have wrinkles? I’ve never felted a mask correctly out of the 2 times I’ve tried. I’ve always bought a hard type of felt, I use Phenic’s tuts because he helps relieve my stress with animal crossing music 😜 But if so, is it okay to have wrinkles and what type of felt are you supposed to get that can help you not get any? :)
