Howdy! fellow adventurers, it feels like 5 minutes ago, I was returning home to bare trees ans late spring snow flurries. Do I feel like I got a years worth of living into 6 months? Not really...but I never do. I can honestly say I tried. We left some unexplored places for next summer in Superiorland--which will be here in 5 more minutes.

The trails are so peaceful and laid back. I would spend my time on those. I would pick a lot of apples and other fruit and can them for the winter. We do that here in Kentucky. Nothing like freebies. The snow and cold wind will soon be arriving. Safe travels.

It was a dark and stormy night was 1830 book Paul Clifford by Bulwer-Lytton. It is about a French Revolution highwayman (ie-robber) who gets sentenced to death by a judge that he learns is actually his father. The apple tree by the side of the road reminded me of the sixth grade. I lived in Algonac, Michigan. The schoolbus driver used to stop at the edge of the road so the apples came in through the schoolbus windows. It was late on the route, so there were only 4 or five kids onboard.

@backwatersandbackroads "What happened to America?" We got too comfortable and forgot to stay vigilant. We allowed one side of the political spectrum to monopolize the universities. Churning out millions of little antifa style stormtroopers annually. My generation (I am a little older than you) failed to properly educate the generation that intends to flush freedom. Sorry about that.

Old rail beds are the best! We got one going right across Newfoundland. Lots of people with side by sides and atvs use the "track" to go on adventures and whatnot. It's a shame that Canada took away our railway though. The Tw 200 is probably my favorite dual purpose bike. Loves the fat ol' tires on it. Might get one in the future.

Such a relaxing video to watch this evening. That maintained trail system was awesome. Looking forward to the next adventure with the Beagle Barge. It was your shanty boat down the Mississippi that made me find your page a few years ago, and I’ve enjoyed it ever since. How long from when you film your trips to when you release them? Few weeks or a month? Just trying to get a time line with the weather & seasons.

Thank you for answering. I love the content and the rawness of it. You make it real and like we are right there with you. Not over edited or produced. @backwatersandbackroads the building was part of a farm at one time. That area was all farm land before most of the ground was stripped of topsoil and sent to St. Ignace. At the corner just N of there used to be the old train station of what used to be Allenville. Theres tons of apple trees around here and most are really good, funny part is there are no actual orchards anywhere close. If you make it back over sometime I can show you around. Another neat place would be the trip over to drummond island.
