7 жыл бұрынLight heavyweight champion Jon "Bones" Jones stopped by Sway In The Morning and spoke about his latest victory and how he wants to proceed in the future.
The UFC fighter recently knocked out Daniel Cormier. He disclosed that he was proud of this because Cormier had improved since their previous fight, which means he defeated Cormier at his best. In defense of Cormier's tears after the match, Jones explained that you see crying in UFC often because wins and losses are all on the fighter's shoulders, so it's taken personally.
Jones has his eye on Brock Lesnar for an upcoming fight. "The higher the risk, the higher the reward," he clarified. He has his goal set on being the heavyweight champ of the world one day, making Lesnar only one hurdle in this race.

The UFC should do Gustafson vs Volkan and the winner fights Jon Jones. And then hopefully Stipe fights Cain and you could even have Jon move up and fight the winner of that. I would love to see all those fights.

man i love jon jones. it pained me to see how he was struggling with his personal life getting in the way of his greatness, and I was honestly really disappointed, especially since he seems like such a grounded and humble guy - but we all make mistakes and I'm glad he is back in the game - he is a true star, when he fought Stephan Bonnar I was like OH SHIT who is this guy?! To see how far he's come has been a real privilege and ya glad he's back so we can see more of what he has to show us. Also all respect to DC he is an amazing fighter as well looking forward to him bouncing back as well. It's hard being number 2 but I hope it doesn't get him down too much keep pushing forward man

This Brock vs Jones size differential(David vs Goliath hyperbole) is so over bloated,Cain Velasquez is barely 6'2 and fought Brock at 244 pounds,Jones stated in this video he walks around at 235 so he can put on 8-10 ponds to make the size difference not so apparent. He also has a bigger frame/reach than Cain and we all know what Cain did to Brock.

Lol. Do you have an idea how much weight Brock walks around in? Even Mark Hunt said that he felt Brock was 500 pounds over (a big exaggeration, I know). There's a reason fighters rarely fight at the weight they walk around in.

why does jones keep referring himself as a little guy if he were to fight brock. he is taller and has more reach than lesnar lmao. he could easily bulk up and make the weight advantage less. mcgregor fighitng brock lesnarr would be a david vs goliath.
