Hello, I recently gave PTE core using the same template and scored 55 in writing. I followed the same email, summarize the text, and write from dictation but still got this too low score. Excellent, Well, I was very concerned about the content. Despite being a native speaker, It takes always little while to write an email or a letter since you gather your thoughts and shape up your content to ponder over a subject and it is not possible whatsoever to write a sensible 100 words email in just 9 minutes, But you made it HALWA bro. I will be convinced if "AI" accepts this template and gives the desired marks.

email content should be addressed otherwise zero. Its in the pte website. Before there was deduction of marks for content but now they mentioned complete zero of email. Please tell us if we can still use the template or it is just a trick by PTE? Need your reply asap bud.

@@Ahuja_78 1 semi and 1 informal. Let me tell you, pte core has changed something on writing email bcz they want people to fail so that we will apply for exam again. Those who want score more than 85 overall. People are confused about the content part in email because if content is not appropriate you will get 0 in email. It was not like this before.

Hi Ankit It is important to understand the marking criteria. If you have scored less in writing and listening both, there are high chances you have gone wrong in listening blanks, write from dictation or summarise spoken text. It is important to note that email only constitutes around 11 points. Let's say you scored 0 in email (which is highly unlikely), still where did remaining 26 points go. Understand the marking criteria, improve the key areas, and then take the test again. All the best.
