I prefer the free model floating around that also guards the volume knob. Also, encryption does nothing to prevent signal triangulation... It just prevents people from decoding the actual audio and hearing you. The choice of words in the video alludes to an implication that encryption can somehow prevent signal triangulation.

The PTT guard that I purchased from you last week has broken in two! Apparently the fitting of the PTT guard didn't completely set into place around the radio and apparently put stress on the guard. So right now this PTT guard is a NO GO at this station.

Which radio did you have/guard did you purchase? Most likely it was for the wrong radio

Upon further review of the radio and PTT guard, I have reached the conclusion that "I" and only "I" gave the incorrect information. The radio that I have is a Hesenate HT-UV8R. My apologies for giving a poor explanation of your PTT guard that is made for a Baofeng UV5R. Again, I apologize.

And it's 3D printed, so cost per piece is about $1 worth of filament. Sure there's machine time and prep, but these can go for $5 each and be very profitable still :)
