Public information films were as much a part of 70's culture as top-tanks,platform soles and the bay city rollers. Enjoy your childhood memories because they will come back when you see these.

These films are charming, witty and clever. They're also beautifully made vignettes of times that exist now only in memory. Also they quite simply suggest we should all try to take care of each other. Thank you for this excellent collection which has been lovingly put together.❤

Yeah! These days if your a kid just stick to your ps4 or stare at your iphone, for fuck sake don't go out and play cos the ice is dangerous and the cars run you over, and if that lot doesn't get you then the paedo hanging outside school and the park will! The "progressive enlightened" 21st century eh? Are you sure people aren't just paranoid these days! Bring the pif's back and lets educate kids to "deal" with these things properly instead of just wrapping them in cotton wool and pretending life doesn't happen!!!!

you can find these and other classic public information films on the Charlie says dvd.i think there should be one made from the 80s/90s too,i recall some gory ones from my teenage years!

The thing about strangers thing has a little bit of a problem, granted you should not talk to or go with people you do not know but more likely it tends to people you know that are more likely to hurt you which it is really dangerous because with people you know, you should be able to trust them.

I learned that "London Fog" was really "London Smog"...I also learned that as recently as 1970. only 1 in 4 British homes had central heating. However, I was never told here on the other side of the pond, to unplug my TV set every night to avoid a fire hazard.

i think we need to show some of these again , people really dont use common sense and many young ones dont even look when crossing, too busy on their bloody phones. i swear common sense has gone out the window. why did they stop showing these??? certainly not because people k now how to behave.
