Watch this 3D Public Library being tested for 10 different sized earthquakes, from the smallest shaking to the largest!
Making these 3D models and running the simulations takes me days of work, please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE if you would like to support my work and spread more earthquake awareness around the world, together! :)
------------------------------
I hope these simulations will educate the general public about potential earthquake related hazards. I do also hope that my videos will inspire a future generation of amazing architects, engineers and scientists! We all need to peacefully work together to make this world a better place.

Welcome to the world’s largest and only 3D earthquake simulation channel on KZfaq! My channel focuses on realistic 3D earthquake simulations of a variety of virtual structures and types of buildings from around the world. Some of my work has been featured by various international media news outlets and it has also been used by other large KZfaq channels such as GeologyHub, GeoPop and CaSeismograph for educational purposes. This channel’s content has also been featured on the Curiosity Channel in a recent documentary called “Breakthrough: Forecasting the Big One”.
The simulations that I post serve an educational purpose and should be solely treated as such. We should not forget that earthquakes are real world events that can sometimes lead to loss of properties and lives.
The simulations were created in Blender 3D with the bullet constraints builder add-on by Kai Kostack.

there is some type of triangles on the steel pillars// and the parking is not under ground (it's also the same building)// and the fact that there is steel on the foundation and (concrete/brick) structure on the top. i never seen that before on a real building so i will take it as a building design change to. thanks for this great simulation!

At intensity 10, the main steel beams holding up the structure change from whole steel beams to 2 different beams attached in the middle, making it weaker. I honestly think that the building could have survived intensity 11 or maybe even 12 if the design changes making it progressively weaker don't occur; I feel like it would be interesting if you created a weak structure, then progressively made enhancements to increase the building's strength to show different methods of earthquake collapse prevention. Edit: I challenge you to make the building from 'When Engineering Fails" survive intensity 11 only by using engineering lol
@EarthquakeSim

you just read my mind! I am working on a project where I will increase the building's strength one step at a time :) kudos for suggesting this!

There are forces in nature in which no human built object can survive. The Chicxulub impact 65 million years ago created an 11.0 and briefly caused a 3 mile high tsunami that traveled inland all the way to modern day Montana. Besides, no structure can survive fissures opening up and soil, liquefaction and significant ground instability.

How scientifically accurate are you striving to make your simulations? I want to put a challenge to you: detail your models down to all of a buildings component parts: the foundations, all of the columns and beams, studs, bricks and concrete blocks, windows including the frames and glass, roofing materials; if a stick frame, all of the studs, cross members, joints, drywall, composites and manufactured wood products. In other words, build your buildings as if you were the contractor responsible for overseeing the entire project. Then rig it with all of the proper constraints, tolerances, properties, springs, hinges, etc., etc. to run the simulation with.

Now see, I have a problem with some of these simulations. These are based on a single stability design. Different regions of countries have different building codes for Earth Quakes. These video simulations are a completely inaccurate depiction of what might happen during an Earth Quake. For my area the ground would liquefy and nearly ALL would be destroyed in even a 4.0 Earth Quake.
