Want to confidently deliver a captivating, unforgettable speech without even using notes? You can. Click here to watch the first hour for FREE 🤗 go.mindvalley.com/Superbrain
In this video, Jim Kwik gives you a taste of how to optimize your brain power by teaching you how to give an entire speech without using notes. He does this by revealing an ancient 2,500 year old memory code called Loci.
The technique has been attributed the greek poet Simonides. After giving a reading to a banquet, he left the building and the building tragically collapsed behind him. Simonides, amazingly, was able to identify the bodies of the deceased by remembering where each person was sitting.
You can do the same thing.
Loci combines the powers of our strong visual memory with our innate spatial expertise. For thousands of years, both of these brain mechanisms have been used for our survival. Now, it’s time to leverage them to not only give your best speech ever, but to enhance your overall memory.

I almost never use notes. Only when absolutely necessary. It's a great skill, the adrenaline keeps me going. One of my former classmates even called me "a living Wikipedia". People do get amazed by it. I am not perfect though, I tend to repeat myself sometimes. It is amazing how all the correct words pop into my mind when I am starting to struggle. I know many are afraid of embarrassing themselves if they "run out of words". What is nice to remember is that most people follow a script, and wouldn't have done it any better if they were speaking without notes. What's important is: - Keeping track of where you are and what you are going to say next - Finding the right words and formulations - Contact with the audience/eye contact - Using fitting body language/gestures (here I can improve) - Controlling time usage So, presenting or speaking without notes is a challenge. Requires multitasking, but if you succeed you will leave a phenomenal impression on the audience.

You can change the world. The ability to speak is a powerful gift. It seems like there is always something new to learn about public speaking. Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father of Lights (ultimately). The best gift ever given to mankind is the Living Word Which became flesh and died for us so that we might have everlasting life. For ages He has been attracting people from all classes to Himself. When we take a moment waiting on His love, our fears are cast away, our voice produces a wonderful influence on those who hear us, and our life bears witness that we are with Him. Blessings
