This was a very interesting and thought provoking talk but as it reached the last 30 mts was also worship inspiring talk. This is a talk I really appreciated.

I’m always afraid we’re going to lose the profound teachings and then another one shows up.

I worshipped my Lord in spirit and truth during the lecture but arrived at the common problem what shall be our individual standing in reward or otherwise in the new creation before our King JESUS ?

I sometimes wonder if not teaching handwriting in school now because of the computer they no longer see the need to know handwriting , doesn’t disassociate the Youngers from actual literature and leads them to simple sound bites and multitasking reading . Not really sinking your mind into the readings. I like using scripture for prayer. Makes more sense than my prayers

Any chance this could be delivered as a podcast?

Thats some accusation that reading the lesson isnt taken seriously.! Ouch ! We should take it to heart , indeed. I'm a charismatic/pentecostal/ methodist/ Anglican/ Baptist . Etc etc , and i love the liturgy too. Its beautiful and thank God for Cranmer. There is the lectionary, doesnt that work through the Bible.? K

Why do n t wright’s fans often tend towards putting down others making valid comments.

I highly doubt delivering an academic speech at a symposium is either a sign of "new creation" or points in that direction.

Very silly unnecessary laughter
@beckyvanleeuwen4593 жыл бұрын
Why do they laugh so much? This is far too serious to be laughed at.

You know the phrase, "It's funny because it's true"?

Media-conscious men like N T Wright and his sound-alike, Rowan Williams, have the Church of England ability to speak fluently and mellifluously, but without saying anything; merely drenching their speech with a thick coat of theoligical and speculative condescending treacle. What the church needs uncompromising biblical exposition, basing the methodology on the knowledge that all concerned in the preaching, the expositor included, are sinners, and if you avoid offending people, you cannot fix them. We have not seen this for a considerable time. If you base your ideas only on supposition, you fail to preach an expository sermon, but end up with another sort of preaching.

You do realize this isn't a sermon? you should try to listen to it for what it is instead of just trying to make yourself seem intelligent
