Big down side is from report server you can subscribe anyone an attached copy of report export in business or external. PBI paginated report subscribers needs a PBI account!

Hi Patrick . Thanks for that video . But in my case the .rdl reports are in Microsoft sql server reporting services not power bi report server , could you please tell me how to migrate them to power bi service ?

Hi Patrick, very helpful video thank you. My network and security teams have blocked Internet access from all our server. Do you know what I should ask to authorize to be able to use that "Publish" button? I guess it uses the Power BI APIs behind the scene?

How do you stop the drill through report from opening in a new window? Tried all the legacy JavaScript tricks but it seems like the react/container that the report renders in overrules/Denys the use of JavaScript links

Hey Patrick...What do you do when you have a report that uses a shared datasoucre but the underlying query for the report uses 3-part naming because data is being pulled from more than one DB? We have several reports like this. Can reports like this be migrated as well? Thanks!!!

Hey Patrick! I have a question. I have a dataset that feeds several reports. I want to implement RLS on a specific report. Is there a way to do this? Would you recommend duplicating the dataset or is there a way to mirror/clone a dataset and only implement RLS on one of them? Thanks for your help!!!

Hey Patrick, will there be support for Shared Data Sources like in SSRS? Managing numerous reports in multiple DBs in multiple Resource Groups is painful without them. Thanks!

There are no plans for that. It's a different architecture really. That's where a Power BI Dataset could be helpful with regards to reuse.

Hey wondering if you can help us how to change Source connection details while using "Direct Query/Import" Mode for Power Bi Report server, as it is Disabled mode.. in Report server.
