Today I review the Honey Mustard Chicken Tender Pub Sub from the Publix Grocery Store Deli! ($10.79)
5 Large fried chicken tenders, chopped and then tossed in Boar's Head Honey Mustard. Toasted with American Cheese, lettuce, garlic pickles, onions, light ranch, a small line of Boar's Head Chipotle Mayo and finished with Oregano!

Excellent ! So now that Im starving for a monster sub sandwich, I will immediately rocket on down to Walmart, get one of their homemade monster loaves of French bread for $1.45, a pound of Cotto Salami for $.2.50, a head of lettuce for a $1.00, a pound of tomatoes for .99 cents and . . . . . .. . make a huge monster sandwich for roughly $6.00 . BOOOOOOOOOOOOM ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I've really come to like Honey Mustard and Dijon Mustard's over the last couple of years. A little goes a long way but I can dig some mustard now a days. This looks delightful!

I have been wondering recently why people are still acting like Pub subs are like a gift to Florida. I asked my brother last night and we laughed at how much they have changed.... They used to be a literal gift, or loss leader, now they are not really cheap.... but if you don't pay for the boars head upgrade they use product that may be cheaper than subway uses. Please people, for the love of God, can we stop acting like Publix deli is the once amazing thing it WAS. NOW it's not as good as say Jersey Mike's, and while some good things are still available at Publix, it should be treated like a hit or miss experience with only decent prices and NOT what it once was which WAS stand out good because it was a loss leader. Not saying that they are bad, but can we please stop saying pubs subs like it is cooler than cool... And say it is a good product that stands on par with other sub shops, but I don't have to walk a half mile to get to the jimmy johns counter like I do at Publix.

Hey CVK ~ I appreciate your comment and the time it took to type. VERY much appreciate you and your brothers OPINION. ;) Opinions are fun. Here is mine. I review food, have for 10 years, I go to ALL the spots! MUCH more than a "normal" consumer. Soooo - here is MY take. Pub Subs are AMAZING! Price, freshness, size etc etc.. and here are my bullet points for you : 1. You said they changed and are not really cheap anymore... um, EVERYONE has doubled to tripled their prices. Publix has MAYBE gone up $1-$1.50)_Go look at Jersey Mikes (my favorite sub shop - better than Publix) and you need to take out a mortgage to buy 2 subs. So you can't ding Publix for changing and slight increase in price when EVERYONE has done that, and even higher. But Publix ALSO has their Sub of The week for $6.99 - $7.99 which beats EVERY Chain sub shop out there. FACTS! 2. You did not just say that having to drive to Jimmy John's and walk 10 steps to order is sooooo much better than driving to Publix and walking to their deli area? hahahahahaha - I have to digest that one a little longer 3. You think that the Publix brand meats are LOW quality? Do your research.Very simple rebuttal there. 4. West Coast puts In N Out on pedestal. Eats Coast puts NY Pizza on a pedestal. Chicago puts their Chicago Dog on a Pedestal. States that have Publix are no different. People LOVE what they know and you can't fault people for loving what they know or grew up on. ANd with that being said, sooooo many people love Publix Subs, so do you think they just MIGHT be Top tier in a LOT of areas? Be honest now. 5. I feel VERY confident that I can do a Comparison video comparing a similar Pub Sub to a similar sub from the Top 5 Chain Sub shops and OVERALL, based on price, size, freshness, etc , Publix would probably win EVERY comparison. So lastly, again, appreciate your opinion, BUT, I presented many facts... again, coming from someone who eats Jimmy John's, Capprioti's, Firehouse, Subway, etc WAY more then most humans. SO I feel I have a GREAT unbiased opinion on all of them. So there you go. You got me to think and type WAY too much today. But food is a passion and Pub Subs are NOT "laughable" as you and your brother might believe. But I do appreciate you bonding with your bro. Family 1st. Lastly, do YOU live in an area with a Publix? How many Pub Subs have you eaten in your life? And when is the last time you went to Jersey Mikes and tried to order a sub without a loan. :) Oh - Also - they are NOT just in FL.... Bama, Tenn, Georgia, maybe a couple others

I do live in Florida and people constantly say they are pissed at the grocery store inflation (and landlords) and Publix in particular for raising prices faster through our the store than Walmart or Target. Grocery stores other than Walmart and Aldi are for sure getting talked badly about so I guess I just chimed in with a parroting of the locals. I can see I got a little too worked up. Oops, lol. You made some great points. The walking part is because of knee surgery, but I hear you, it won't be as big of a deal in six months from now, that also got in my head. Anyway love your channel, keep up the great work.

@cvk2399 well... yes. Totally agree. Publix had always been pricey. And they are under fire even more now for their high prices. So I agree with you that publix, itself, is over priced, have changed, and I very rarely ever shop there. But the subs are still top quality and I will put them up against ANY chain sub, any day. As a matter of fact. I filmed a jersey mile mikes review today and the regular size was $9.99! And we both know its smaller than a whole Pub Sub. And I LOVE Jersey Mikes! But yes, I love opinions, and appreciate yours. I was just really passionate about this one because I feel soooo strong that pub subs beat almost every chain spot when you look at all the major aspects. And sorry to hear about the knee surgery. Get on one of those motorized carts and go order a Pub Sub for dinner. ;) thanks for the support!!!

@@theendorsement Cool, I haven't been into Publix since before the stuff started in 2020. Come to think of it I've had a couple publix subs left for me in the fridge that I had a day or two after they were made but not a fresh one in a while. Makes me chuckle that is likely why it wasn't as good :) I used to go get their deli food alot back in the day and liked it a lot, glad to hear it still tastes good and people may be talking more about the price. I'll have to grab a sandwich there again sometime.

A 5 piece tender meal is not $20 lol. Not at all. Not in Florida where most Publix’s are located. The 3 piece meal is only $8.99 so how you got all the way up to $20 for 5 idk lol.
