i have been quite pleasantly surprised by how well it does... i don't think i could watch TONS of it... but for the bits and pieces that i'll throw into the crashing dad videos, it'll work... and i think for this channel..no subs...no pressure... no editing, or production... it's fun to only have the one camera.. and to just throw footage up... and submit it to the Trailforks website to help them log videos of the trails..

@@sheyn7910 it's super helfpul for me watching that drop, the hero 7 does it way more justice than a gimbal and it stays in the direction of travel and doesn't get left behind. I think gimbals are great for b-roll especially, and even vlogging, but pov clips I gotta say hands down I prefer the hero 7. I can only tolerate so much pov anyway lol at some point this year I'll probably invest in one. I could also use it for motovlogging, potentially. That being said, is there a port for external mic? Guess I could run audio separately, but I've struggled with that on filmora. Hard to line up perfectly

I still take that drop pretty mellow.... 😬 It freaks me out...I call it the Kyle drop in my mind ..and it always causes me to brake check. External audio is STUPID for the 7... You've gotta buy a $50 adapter...and it's bulky AF

@@sheyn7910 I noticed you brake checked right before it, that was interesting. I usually try to brake sooner so I feel like I have more rolling momentum off the drop, but you looked really in control that way. Might have to try later braking

Lol... That was probably NOT the best technique 😂🤦‍♂️ I think I want to try hitting it full speed, but "pre-jumping" it...so the lip doesn't buck me...🤔
