If I was hand paddling, the water depth had to be less than a foot. Since my drive needs about 14” to work in.

Hey do you think the boat ramp it deep enough for a pontoon boat, to get into the channel from there.

To get into the ship channel yes. You just need to pay attention to the ground on ur way out. And as far as getting into the channel I’m fishing?? Helllll no! lol ain’t no way a pontoon can get back into that inlet.

Haha yeah kayaking is fun. But getting to areas I’ve never been to on a boat are good to. Should have a new motor soon. And I was using a 20lb braid (power pro)

Could have been a Tarpon rolling out there. It happens sometimes because they like similar environment's to snook. One of the only fish that can peel drag like that!
