My gramma, mom and my brother Nathan make PHENOMENAL Arroz Con Gandules! They make it with Salchichon inside it. Sometimes pork, spam or chicken but usually Salchichon or Salchichas. (Vienna sausages). I prefer the salchichas. Let me tell you that they are phenomenal at cooking but my angel gramma cooks like an angel as well. But LORD knows I can't wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas where the Pastelles and Coquito get made by my mom and gramma and I pig out on them all at the table!
