No one else is special huh just you guys huh lol 😂 Pride is not good my friend. And I mean this with no disrespect. The invention of rap is satanic. He is responsible for rap music ever coming out. Your thoughts are not your own thoughts. That's bible right there. So careful of boasting about creating rap. Because many who idol worship or love rap Wich is of the world 🌎 Won't make it into the kingdom. And these rappers will lead you straight to the basement. So I'm glad we didn't invent it. But many Spanish and whites are on there way to the basement because they worship the evil in rap and glorify and support the violence , And sexual immorality, Cheating , Drugs, Fornication Adultary. The list is endless. I personally don't like it no more because it's supporting black on black crime. Rap music is a problem in the black culture and we need to call it out. Look at these kids copying and emulating the style. Trying to act and be someone else, who is actually doing the same thing) Wich is copying someone else. Please read your bible get norn again and baptized in the holy spirit. Rap is a quick way to the basement. And I want all to escape what will come to them if they are not careful.

Why is it that you guys consistently refuse to admit that not one Puerto Rican has ever stated on record that American Blacks did not create Hip Hop, and its culture. Puerto Ricans have just merely stated that we were right there in The Bronx, NY during the early 70's in the delivery room watching Hip Hop come out of the womb. We are saying that we were right there actively involved in all the elements that eventually became known as Hip Hop culture. We are saying it was a collective. Mind you, we understand that many of you who have issues are from the south and west coast that have been molded by the "Jim Crow" experience. We know it is hard for you to fathom that Blacks and Puerto Ricans of New York City actually cohabited the same neighborhoods. But, it is 2023 -- not 1950! Learn 70's Bronx, NY history first, before you use this as an underground covert military operation against Latinos as a whole! Godspeed...

As a Puerto Rican… Puerto Ricans didn’t create shit and also fat joe didn’t mean we created it in a literal way… He’s talking about the culture. Late 80s/early 90s AFRICAN AMERICANS INFLUENCED US . And we expanded on that…now everyone does creates hip hop music. Does it matter what race is involved 50 years later? Please don’t make this a race thing because majority of the people in the or parade are AFRICAN AMERICAN Also the hypocrisy in you saying nothing Puerto Ricans brought nothing to the table yet you compliment pun….pun brought breathing control…eat coast flow change up…all WHOLE NEW SOUND…when kid frost made “la raza” nobody was saying shit about the chicanos …. But seriously we can debate all day but the end result is still and respectfully that hip hop is for all colors and ethnicity…. You do seem Puerto Ricans getting mad every time a non Puerto Rican goes to a Spanish spot to buy our cultures food…so why complain when other races come into hip hop? You took fat joes statement too literally I know he’s a storyteller both lies and truth doesn’t mean u can diminish the fact that Spanish people in hip hop were a cultural add on and no one complained … Shabba ranks made a song called dembow …then all of a sudden 30 years after that song reggaeton/dembow is one of not the laregest streamed music genre in the world….we know where we get some of shit from we pay homage don’t make it seem like Puerto Ricans are biting off people

why did black emcees let Hip Hop fade away, though? The only emcees remaining are the ones that are famous and have been famous. Some even say Hip Hop evolved. How is that possible? My Top 5 are mainly black Emcees [Big L, Big Pun, Prodigy, Nas & Kool G Rap] I love Nas, but since he is still alive , how could he say 'Hip Hop is dead'? I mean, he is[one of many true emcees] the embodiment of Hip Hop manifested. Hip Hop sounds aren't supposed to change outside of what makes Hip Hop music. It would be 'experimental' beyond that. It's like making a salsa song sound like merengue and call it ''salsa''. Not really so. I LOVE Hip Hop in its form. It's kinda heart breaking to see the state of [BLACK] Hip Hop today on the mainstream and even on the underground. What happened there? Just my rant. 5 ELEMENTS 12 JEWELS! Peace!

@therealsyxx I know you trying to establish a narrative to get your channel to pop but don't feed the narrative Fat Joe getting paid to push. In all reality the fake joos hijacked a art form to push an agenda. Record labels taking out artist and they never wanted black people in charge of distribution or to own they own publishing. Salsa music was created by Afro-Cubans made popular by Puerto Ricans 60's and 70's alot of black musicians played in salsa bands because they had the jazz background. It was almost like Hip Hop that it bought people together. Fania Records use to tour in Africa because it's true roots was from Africa. The Africans treated them like royalty because it was there music bought back to them. It was a beautiful thing but the record labels were the ones who got rich not the artist. I have more Afro beats and jazz music in my library than today's hip hop because that's closer to the frequency that speaks to my soul.

@therealsyxx Just to give a little backdrop. You know the Last Poets was doing it in the 60s, rapping. One of the members that replaced one of the original drummers was a Puerto Rican man. He went on to establish the Puerto Rican Young Lords who were a civil rights group that aligned with black civil rights groups. They had poets too. So this all goes back to the 60s civil rights movements.

Puerto Ricans definitely contributed to the culture, did they create it ? no, Fat Joe really not that old school , so he probably feels about what he saw growing up. there were a few puerto ricans that got involved in hip hop in the 70s, to date " Charlie Chase and Whipper Whip made statements that pretty much contradicted Fat Joe. Krs may have given credit to ricans incorrectly or how he saw it, for thier contributions to the culture. peace

Im Puerto Rican and if you want to include the elements of hip hop only graffiti and break dancing but thats the 80's bruh. Besides Big Pun and Nore during Capone and Noriega days cant say made the contribution as far as Rap music but the bigger picture is who gives a fu*k. Zionist capitalize off the genocide of a race of people and call it "culture"😂 Puffy had Pac killed Suge had Big killed and more rappers die than any other genre of music. If you want to claim rap my bro go right ahead. I dont know what narrative Fat Joe pushing but I only liked him during DITC days.

To be honest, Hip-Hop, Bomba, Salsa, Merengue and so forth all trace back to the motherland. Even Reggaeton is the successor of Spanish Reggae which came out of Panamá as a creation of melanated peoples from the West Indies.
