Danlicious food exactly, I remember taking my wife to a nurse training appointment out of town and instead of waiting for her, I drove down the street and came up on a pastry shop and saw cinnamon rolls that were light looking and when I tried them they were so good, and all I kept saying was how these taste like a buttery croissant, that's when I realized that that's what they were. So like you stated " that's genius to use them for cinnamon rolls 👍👍👍I'm thawing out mine now, I had planned to roll and cut them like traditional cinnamon rolls but I'm going to try her way, it seems more easier.

I made these for Christmas morning breakfast. Quick & easy & delicious! 😋 One hint would be if you don’t like the centre soft then don’t twist the pastry so many times, a few twists gives the same effect, the twirling still works and puff pastry is forgiving and magically forms its own perfect rustic shape and is so crispy and so tempting!

I did something similar with some more spices (cardamom and clove), and would simply roll the puff pastry into pinwheel. I love the idea of twisting it into a rose-like shape, and will surely try it when I bake these mext time! :D

These are AMAZING! I was in the mood for something warm sweet and cinnamony. 😅 Have no bread for french toast and looked for a recipe with puff pastry. Found yours and rushed into the kitchen, put everyhing together, had a hard time using fresh puff pastry instead of frozen one. Ooooohhhh, but the payoff! 🤤 The brown sugar really adds something special here. I live in Germany and brown sugar isnt that common in our cuisine. But its a winner in this recipe. They were gone in a BLINK. 🤣 And I really had to stop myself from eating them all. I want to save some for my hubbys lunch box. But I have some more puff pastry in the fridge. Will repeat this soon. Thanks for this awesome idea! 🥰

Another twist you might try would be to take the twisted strips and instead of rolling them into a rose make them into a circle shape. They could be like little wreaths.

I am definitely trying this recipe. My husband is a cinnamon roll connosier lol I have made them from scratch and it is a lot of work. For the glaze I might make a cream cheese glaze. Thanks for sharing

I am definitely going to try these. I'm a bit intimidated by cinnamon rolls, to be honest. But these are so accessible with the use of ready-made, frozen, puff pastry. Who knew?! 😋
