I really remembered and loved that show as a 2000s kid, until it got cancelled in 2006, much to my disappointment, which is why I hate cancellations. Puffy AmiYumi are the best singers I’ve ever heard of from Japan, thanks Ami Onuki and Yumi Yoshimura for brightening my childhood, when you sang the theme for Teen Titans, Puffy AmiYumi are the best!

This shows holds a strange yet warm presence in my heart. I have faint fragments of distant memories about this show, watching it from time to time when I wad a kid. So many years has passed yet a few blurry scenes from this show randomly pops into my mind every now and then for no particular reason, as a reminder of the good times when I was a carefree kid. So ultimately, not the show it self (since I quite frankly don't have a clue what it is about) but rather the memories attached to it that makes me feel so damn nostalgic.

Conheci esse desenho nas férias de 2006, assistir as férias inteiras não tava passando TV globinho por causa da copa do mundo aí assistia na sbt e amei o desenho cada dia que assistia gostava mais, até que um dia vi no tooncast e no cartoonzão (bloco da cn na madrugada) eu lembrei e voltei a assistir o desenho, um dos melhores desenhos da cartoon network que já existiu, uma pena que não faz desenhos assim hoje em dia.

I love this and the show because this shows that other things or people from other countries or places could have a big impact upon many people. I really miss when Cartoon Network had great shows, even though they are going in a good direction today. It's really damn underrated, from the style, humor and animation. It's really one of Cartoon Network's most underrated shows if you ask me. I've been seeing it again, and it holds up imo, sure bring 2000s vibes but it works nicely for the show

I was introduced to Puffy through their show on Cartoon Network. I never really watched much of it, but it seemed really interesting from what I saw. I recently gave it another watch as an adult, and I have to say, it's one of Cartoon Network's diamonds in the rough. I only wonder how the real life Ami and Yumi must've felt when they heard they were going to be turned into cartoons.

Lo bonito de todo es que aún se conserva está serie en la actualidad.. tenía unos 9 o 10 años cuando la ví, y ahora voy por los 23.... Está serie me impulso a querer aprender a tocar instrumentos como la guitarra y la batería.. es muy bonito verla ahora en ToonCast después de muchísimos años

Me alegra ver que hay comentarios de gente latinoamericana 😄. Antes del K-Pop, antes del gran boom de hoy en día que son bandas como BTS y Monsta X, estaba el J-Rock y esta legendaria agrupación rockeando todos los días en la tarde por Cartoon Network 😎. He vuelto a verme la serie por Tooncast y es igual de entretenida, carismática y divertida como la recuerdo 😄. Hasta diría que muy infravalorada.

Ami onuki y yumi yoshimura en ese tiempo ellas se hicieron conocidas gracias a este tema pero en ese tiempo yo no sabia que ellas eran "Japonesas" porque yo recién las estaba conociendo su carrera musical por el programa "hi hi puffy ami yumi" Ya que mi gusto por la música estaba creciendo ahora me gusta escuchar todos los géneros

@@Merdicano Es verdad yo cuando miraba el programa "hi hi puffy ami yumi" no tenia idea de que trataba ni tampoco quienes eran las dos integrantes pero con el tiempo terminaron siendo mis favoritas y también ellas son conocidas por cantar el tema de "Los jovenes titanes"

O problema não está nos desenhos em si, mas nos engravatados por trás do canal que já não correm os riscos que corriam nos anos 90 e 2000 - o medo de investir em coisas que não sejam uma mixórdia de desenhos da treta porque pensam que os putos só gostam do humor 'random' que se vê na net. Muitos poucos são os desenhos na CN que prestem agora - Adventure Time e Regular Show vêem-se bem, e o Gumball ainda escapa com o seu estilo artístico pouco ortodoxo.

There's something about the fact that it shows them in America and all these people of different races, ages and all coming to see them. I guess it just shows just how popular they were when they came here. I didn't know they actually blew up that much in America. Fun Fact: Puff Daddy / P. Diddy sent a "cease and desist" on their name and ordered them to change it. That is how we got "Puffy AmiYumi" in the U.S. They even said: "We respect it. We had no idea who he was, but we also didn't know what Puffy meant. Someone gave us the title years ago and we kinda just went with it."
