Adam Raw haha what? respect? these meatheads. an do 10 pull ups what a joke. it doesn't matter how big you are it's a strength to weight ratio this is a perfect example of training to be big but no practical functionality they are suppose to be so big and strong but can't even lift their own weight hahhaha

vonick1 seriously? 12 pull ups at 180kg bodyweight and you think he's not strong? Being this huge gives you a lot of power on big compound exercises like the squat, but pull ups activate mainly biceps who are much smaller muscles. I was even more impressed they could lift their weight at all.
@adamoosthuizen58787 жыл бұрын
roma98 yeah pull ups are mainly focused on your back and lats...you're probably thinking of chin ups that are more focused on your biceps

All the people who weigh 75kg in the comments saying how there form is bad and there not in good shape 😂😂😂😂😂 Yes your pull ups may be better but your 50kg bench press isn't 😂
@robertheilmeier26716 жыл бұрын
+Jack Chapman As a 67 kg guy whose bench pressing abilities are probably nonexistent while I can easily do pull ups this made me laugh :D! Very very true, and all my respect to these guys. Misha is awesome!
@casperhansen99554 жыл бұрын
If you can do pull-ups at 75kg, but you can only do 50kg bench.. You need to revaluate your training... When i weighed 75kg, my bench was 80kg, and did 12 pull-ups

This is amazing. THIS is why I made pullups a focus for this year - even though these guys can lift like mad in other ways, big guys doing pullups is such an impressive feat. PS. I love the 80lb 80 year old who came to watch. I hope I'm still in the gym at his age.
@Exekutioncro7 жыл бұрын
I think you missed the point, it is about how heavy they are and still are capable of repping pull ups. If a random 80 kg dude tries to do a single pull up with a 100 kg weight wrapped around his hips, he probably will fail.
@Guard6557 жыл бұрын
A random 80kg dude doesnt have the same muscle mass as these guys, so adding 100kg weight is not the same. I think you should be strong enough to do pull ups in comparision to your own weight, if you cant you are either fat or your back muscles are not strong enough. IMO the only thing these guys proves are that they have developed their muscles in proportion to their weight to be able to do pull ups
@v3n4817 жыл бұрын
Guard655 thats true.. everyone is amazed because 160kg can do pull ups. I would be amazed if they couldnt. It would mean that their training is not well balanced.

it's so cool when a lifters do a pull-ups! At last some different exercise than lifting and lifting all the time. Btw Koklyaev is now 2 times stronger than me in pulling strength, beceause he weighs 2 times more than me and he can do as much pullups as me.
@MultiGreat19 жыл бұрын
szymusiek1980 Its not that simple lol. He is way more than two times stronger.
@szymusiek19809 жыл бұрын
MultiGreat1 oh gosh, I don't mean his absolute strength, just his separated strength - as for latissimus dorsi muscle only. Do u get it? It's clear that in regard to this one he is just 2 times stronger than me. What did u think? That he is maybe 4 times stronger than me? Oh god, it would mean that he is as strong as the chimp, what is untrue
@szymusiek19808 жыл бұрын
+Sergio Di Pasquale oh, so if he can do max 10 reps with some load and I can do max 5 reps with the same load, does it mean he is two times stronger than me? Hmm do I know ... Pure strength does not always refer to the number of reps. The more reps we do, the more it's about endurance and less about strength.
@szymusiek19808 жыл бұрын
+Sergio Di Pasquale I don't think so. I claim strengthm endurance are not the same. For example, if I can do max 15 chin-ups and my friend with the same weight can do max 1 chin-up, does it mean that I'm 15 times stronger than him? Naaaaah. That would mean that I can pull a 15x bigger load than his in 1 rep, which is false.
@szymusiek19808 жыл бұрын
+Sergio Di Pasquale You suggested that being able to do 2x more reps than somebody means being 2x stronger than him. I don't agree with this, So I'm not saying the same thing. I just think that the strength is not measured by endurance (reps), but weight at single rep.
