@RushFlaut That's not true at all. This vid is 7 years old on youtube, but iirc it's from mid 2000s. Either way, it's the young, slower talking, smaller faced david. That was his persona then, talking that way. Watch anything from the past 2-3 years, he has grown up and dropped the persona. Watch him on JRE from just the past week or two, he has no brain damage, he speaks normal, he's articulate. Don't just spout bullshit for the sake of spouting bullshit, especially at someone else's expense.

I mean... the trick is relatively simple. Obviously the ball and the card inside is planted prior to the trick. DB only needs to ensure that the mark picks the ‘correct’ card which is the 7 of spades. Getting people to pick a specific card in a deck is pretty straightforward. It’s almost the exact same trick that he pulled on Harrison Ford with the card in the orange.
@stustu9717
@stustu9717 2 жыл бұрын
doilyfilm presumably by taking out the air nozzle and stretching the hole enough to place the card inside without rolling it tight. Then letting the hole close and securing the nozzle back in place and filling up the ball.

It's because that card is specially marked by David so that he can find it throughout his tricks. Look at how he taps his finger onto the card he wants the guy to choose; that's the part that was coordinated w the player in advance. That's also how he has the same card hidden in the basketball beforehand as well.

It a force. He “forced” him to pick that card. However, if that was happening to me I’d be sure to pick a completely random card the magician wasn’t forcing. I don’t know how the trick would turn out of that happened. Personally, I think I’d go for the second card in the deck.

2:00 Watch more closely. 😉 He put the card inside the ball and then took it out. Awesome sleight of hand!!! Look well at .25x you can see the card 'appeared' in his hand.

My first thought was that the whole deck were 7 of spades. But after he launched them at the wall, obviously a bunch of them flipped over on the ground. I have no clue how he did that

The 7 of spades was placed in the basketball beforehand. Then he forced another 7 of spades onto the guy.

Either that or the guy who reached into the basketball was an assistant and the card was up his sleeve.
