Nice, congratulations! Great video and footage thanks! I like that pragmatic way on holding the slings for the first time on just moist substrate.

I had the same incubator issue. I bought ankle length sheer socks that I would put halfway (just over the water) in the big cup and stretch it over the sides. I would then put in the smaller cup with the coffee filter as usual and top it with a lid. I did secure the sheer sock with a rubber band just to be sure it stayed in place but it completely fixed the issue.

Not sure if you watch other spider tubers but Dave's beasties used your old method but completely cut out the bottom to the smaller piece and used panythose I believe to keep them from being about to have what you explained happen and he said it gave him about 100 percent humidity if not 100

Just wanting to say how right you are on chasing them around the corkbark if they get out and about. My OBT decided after nearly a year to drop a secret eggsac I didn't discover until going for a terrarium change and chasing down about 60 slings. It was awful. 😆 Hopefully yours do great and keep up the good videos!

I can't believe Tarantula eggs look like that, WTF. There's no doubt what's inside them, that's for sure! You don't stumble upon those and think "gee, what do these eggs belong to?!" O_O Going to get my first Tarantula soonish. I love the way the OBTs look, beautiful, but I am trying to get over arachnophobia, so don't think these would be a good starter species for me...
