Today we are in ERLENGRAT and we are starting the new logging parcel. First, we mounted a forest cage on the Valtra 8750 and then headed to the local dealer to pick up a new piece of equipment. We bought a brand new Tajfun EGV 80 AHK winch for 4500 euros and we attached the winch on the back of the tractor and then returned back to the Sawmill. The next job was to transport the tractor to the new parcel and for that job, we gonna use a MAN TGX 26.640 forest truck and low-loader trailer. We got the tractor loaded and strapped and then we headed to the new logging parcel. When we arrived we unloaded the tractor and then headed back to the Sawmill with MAN and trailer. Back at the Sawmill we parked MAN and trailer and then jumped into Hilux and loaded a few cones and the attached gear trailer and headed up the mountain. After we got on the top of the mountain we parked Hilux and then we unloaded the cones and put on the safety gear. Then we jumped into Valtra and headed down the hill to start cutting down trees. After we got the trees cut down and branches removed it was time to start pulling the trees up the hill to the loading place. We get the Valtra in position and then we attached two trees to the winch and we start going up the hill. The Valtra was struggling to pull the two trees up the hill because we didn't have enough traction. We are planning to put the chains on for the next job. After we pulled 25 trees from the forest the job was finished. We parked Valtra and then jumped into Hilux and headed down to the Sawmill to take a break.
