That is how I feel too, I love the packaging and how the doll is displayed as much or more then when they are out of the package.

I absolutely can t understand it! :) And I always thought, that the only reason for leaving dolls in the box, is because of dust, less space or that they won t loose their value (If you want to sell them one day). But that it s just nicer in Box?!?!?!??? Noooooo :D .....but I really would like the doll in the box, but without the plastik and the whole stuff (Just an unboxed doll in the box :) ) ....and without the plastik window in the box - Just the hole in the box. This would be my personal "Dream"".

Hehe there are a few of us out there and I have been watching your videos for a few years so we definitely band together lol They are so beautiful though its hard not to want to collect them, the only limit to me is a financial one. If they were the cost of a Monster High doll I think I would need an episode of hoarders to cover my collection haha

I guess I do kinda stick out of the crowd of mostly female collectors but I really love Japanese Fashion and Pop culture so I think the Pullip dolls really fit into that well. But I also really like Fashion in general so I do collect a few other dolls.

Thank you. Yeah I have noticed that too with the plastic on their heads, I have removed it from a few of my dolls for that reason though not all of them I really should though. It really is hard not to dig into every single doll and open them up but at the same time I kinda like that feeling of wanting to open them up so badly. Once they are open you have to buy more dolls to get that feeling again lol

Yeah Aurora is hard to find now, you might want to check Japan, the yen is weak right now so everything feels like 30% off even with shipping and proxy fees. I bought 7 older pullips in the past month including some of the rare limited ones and did not spend more then $80 shipped on any of them. I am posting a video of that haul in a day or two. I love the way they look in the box, and I know more and more get opened every year so I want one of the few collections that has them all in the box for the future. Eventually I kinda want a set out of the box too if I had the space haha. I would probably look to find cheaper open examples when I do that.

The original dolls definitely had more character. I think I slightly prefer the Jun Planning dolls but there are a lot of Groove ones that I love too.

Very cool shes a sweet doll. The original Shinko and Detective Shinku are two I am missing. I think they also made a carrying case to match the Anime case. Hopefully I can find them when I have some money to spend again.

I agree, box design can be just as fun as the doll itself. The outside of thew boxes and how the dolls are positioned and laid out inside the box.

Seeing them in person really makes them that much more awesome. I do get them wholesale directly from Groove for my own store so that is kinda my favorite place to purchase them hehe but I can recommend Pullipstyle.com, they do a great job shipping them and prices are good. I also sometimes purchase the rare choice ones when they find them from the jpgroove.com website.

I think my second favorite is either Tiphona Pullip or Ra Muw Dal but its hard to choose there are so many beautiful dolls they have made over the years. I think my favorite era was 2010-2012.

My ultimate goal was to have a full collection on display in a museum with one boxes example and one mint out of the box example for each doll. Question is will I ever get to that goal. Of course selling them off would help with some short term cash but not that end goal.

pullipsandjunk.com has all the pullips ever made pictured, I would go through the images and make a list of the ones that you like the most then check to see which of those are in your price range.

I got a lot of them wholesale from Groove, a few imported from Japan some from Pullip style and a few from Ebay. I always hunt down the best deals I can find.

I really enjoy how they look in their original boxes and want to put a complete set together one day. I have 20-30 of them open and that is plenty for taking photos etc. The rest would be overkill for those purposes. I kinda like trying to preserve their history since they are kinda rare.
