Tarantino's dialogue is actually never random. It's all for the purpose of character building, and oftentimes the conversations have something to do with the furtherance of the plot. For instance, the foot massage conversation establishes that even though these 2 gentleman are cold blooded killers, they still have a code of ethics and respect, and it sets up a long standing inside joke that Tarantino has a foot fetish.

To continue your dive down the Tarantino rabbit hole ------- Your next movie needs to be "Reservoir Dogs", Then "Kill Bill", "Django", even "Jackie Brown" and " The Hateful Eight" ------ The dialogue that you loved so much in "Pulp Fiction" is the signature aspect of all of Tarantino films.

This movie never gets old for me and I'm so glad you went in blind. As a reactor, I imagine you'll try to go into everything as blind as you can, but this one is so much better without spoilers. It just constantly subverts your expectations. Tarantino is kind of great at that, but I think this is the movie where he really kind of went nuts and couldn't shut it off.

My personal favourite Tarantino film is Jackie Brown and it’s often the favourite of Tarantino-ites. It has blaxploitation icon Pam Grier in the lead with Sam Jackson, Robert Forster, Robert DeNiro, Bridget Fonda and Michael Keaton. It is such a rewatchable film and features his most mature characters so I hope you give that one a watch soon. I think you’ll love it. Congrats on the milestone but your channel will grow very fast so there’s more of those to come, I’m sure.

Nah Tarantino's dialogue is anything but random , for example the reason why Mia snorted the heroin is because when Vincent bought it , the dealer was out of balloons which usually that's what heroin is stacked in, so he had to use a bag which is usually cocaine is stacked in, so when she reached in the pocket she found a bag so she assumed it's cocaine, that's why she lined it up and snorted right away , Tarantino story telling is just brilliant

Hey Tynia, One of the the main themes of the movie is redemption. ------ All of the characters get a second chance after a somewhat selfless act. --------- Vincent chooses not to sleep with Mia and saves her life after she OD's. -------- Butch is allowed to leave LA alive after saving Marcellus. --------- And Jules helps Honey Bunny and Yolanda after the "act of God." He reads the tea leaves and leaves the gangster life. ------------ Vincent doesn't, and he pays with his life after running into Butch whom he previously, and needlessly insulted.

Hey, helpful hint for your production: When using auto-focus sometimes the camera will decide what to focus on if it is nearby in the frame of the shot. It looks like your camera decided to focus on the computer behind you. If you move the computer out of the shot the auto-focus should pick you to keep in focus in the future. Great reaction! The randomness of the topics of the dialogue is what takes his movies to the next level. That is what makes them seem real. That is what makes us identify with the characters. You can watch it two ways: It's either a waste of your time because you didn't pay to sit around watching people talking about random shit for a fifth of a movie. Or you can view it as something that serves a purpose beyond the plotline itself. The random dialogue about mayo on fries in France is important. It is important because it's a relatable everyday type of dialogue that you have in real life, that serves to give you an impression of who these people are. They are gangsters but gangsters also have a regular morning on the way to work, before shit goes crazy. You identify. The lack of substance makes you focus on the personalities and getting a sense of them, rather than the substance of the conversation. Plus he does it in a humorous way too. Personally, I am so tired of movies where every single word of every single dialogue between every single character is super important and either defining for the plot, or a hint to a later plot twist that makes you go "OH so that's why she said that thing!" That stuff is so unrelatable to me, because that's not how people go about their day. And every moment of every day of your own life is not constantly super intense and important. Not even during a very stressful and dramatic phase of your life. Even then you still sit down at night and fall asleep watching TV halfway through a Big Kahuna burger 🙂 Simply put: Tarantino is making these people real to us, rather than important to the movie. And that engages us more than a constant stream of intensity of crucial yapping 🙂

Before this, Tarantino had writing creds for Dusk til Dawn and True Romance! Which is a movie about himself being a video store clerk, but turning Hollywood fantasy! He often has dialogue heavy movies, and long segments in them, where actors seem to be out of character, and having a discussion in various life circumstances, like the breakfast scene here, or the foot massage scene in Pulp Fiction! Pro tips, Vic Vega is Vince Vega's brother from pulp fiction! Eddie bunker as Mr Blue was a former Bank robber, who went to jail, and started writing crime stories, while in! Mr White put up 5 mil to get this movie made, so he could play Mr White! James Woods was up for either Mr White or Mr Pink roles, but his manager didn't give him the script. James fired him! Sam Jackson was supposed to play the role of the black dude undercover cop, but Tarantino said, wait im writing another part for you, which became Pulp Fiction! If u watch his movies, he uses the same actors over and over! Sam, harvey, Tim, and others, in several of his movies...Sam the most. This, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Hateful Eight, and a voice in Inglorious basterds. Nobody liked the Boss, most of the other actors wanted to beat his ass! He thought he was old school Hollywood royalty and above the other actors. Like several of his other movies, this is based on an old Japanese samurai story, about a group of samurai who get slaughtered in a revenge ploy. The few left realize, one of them is a traitor who tipped off a warlord. Also, search up, Reservoir Dogs posters....there are so many iconic shots from this movie, I have 4 posters as wall art! U may not like his language all the time, but in private moments, street level , homey folks, rednecks, the brothas on the corner, on the block, the crazy chicas....u know they be talkin to each other like this.

John Travolta’s character Vincent is actually the brother of one of the characters in the movie Reservoir Dogs. In all of the movies there is the fictional Red Apple cigarettes. Not all brands of mayonaise goes with fries in Europe, my personal favorites are Miracle whip or Hellman's And the Quater Pounder is called the same in many EU countries but France I think 😄

Tarantino seems to think that 'Inglorious Bastards' is his masterpiece, but to me it's 'Pulp Fiction'. So many people have copied or straight stolen from Tarantino's style that it is hard to explain just how out of this world this movie was in 1994. Nobody had ever seen anything like it. It was one of those things where your friend would be raving about how good it was, but then you'd ask them what it was about... And they couldn't answer. They give some mumbling explanation that always ended in 'You just have to watch it', and they were right. Tarantino's movies are so unique, that it's hard to even explain why they are so good.

Mayo on fries (pommes frites) is the one and only way!

I've been to the Netherlands and yes they do serve mayo with their french fries. They have these little shops that only serve fries. They come in a large paper cone and they glop the sauce (mayo) right in the middle. That's what's gross. You can get it on the side. But in the same way Ranch, Blue Cheese and Thousand Island are all mayo-based, so are all the sauce types to choose from. It's just "aoili" in different flavors. Curry, BBQ, hot and sour, garlic, etc. It ain't that gross. I never saw anyone use straight mayo but I'm sure people do it. You can get ketchup too.

Pulp Fiction is my third favorite Tarantino film because Kill Bill and Reservoir Dogs are more artistic and really the hight of his abilities. Also just such captivating scenes from beginning to end. All in all this was a beautifully done reaction and very much am subbing for more.
