4:48:05 100% percent with Skip on the flaggers. That's an AMA national event (World Class level) if the AMA flaggers don't get there till Friday, the bikes don't hit the track until Friday. Simple as that. Don't gimme that "not our fault/problem" bullshit, if it wasn't a part of the AMA sanctioned event then every rider out there would have been dq'd because nobody is allowed to ride the track the week before a national.

Volunteer flagger here. Been riding since '75. Racing (amateur) since I could afford it while serving in the Air Force in '87. Volunteer flagging for the pro races the past couple of years at Thunder Valley (aside from flagging amateur races for decades). A few "educated" comments: First, the crew who preps us (AMA people) don't know the track like we do. I live 3 miles from Thunder Valley, and I've ridden it since the late 90's. I know where my eyes are at when I ride the track. Granted, I'm no pro, but I know some of the sections where I look isn't much different than where the pros look. So, last year when I flagged, I tried to move into a position further up-track than where they wanted me, just to help the riders. Second, at least a third of the riders disregard the flags. I was almost hitting them in the helmets with my flag, and the idiots wouldn't back off the throttle or adjust their line like I was pointing to. I'm 62. One thing I've learned to be true is you'll appreciate my honesty until it's directed at you, and then you'll call me an asshole. So, this summer when I flag Thunder Valley (the amount I get paid has nothing to do with the quality of my work...if you know anything about human behavior, which you obviously don't, I do it for the love of the sport), and I see a number that disregarded my instructions last lap, I'm going to wind up and clock his bitch ass with the flag in the goggles. You ok with that?

What differentiates mx and other racing is the skill required by the rider and the lap time difference that is created by the skill gap. The bikes are all so good now that when a guy like Kenny goes to a non factory team he can win, but not many top guys that are still capable of winning leave factory teams so it just doesn't happen. what I'm eluding to is its just so rider dependent that the big teams could care less to share with the smaller teams who will never win unless they sign someone at the top. WOO Sprint cars for example can have a dominant guy (Brad Sweet the past 5 years or so, Donny Schatz before him and Steve Kinser Before him) but you still have the small guys stealing wins and even local drivers winning when the big series come to town. That just is not the case in pro mx where the local pros are lucky to score a point or even make the top 40.

The boys racing know who is who! You always know! The rest is parody at best by media (also the iob they have to do) chase is a savage and won’t stop. He knows, we all know. At best! He will make Jett better.. that’s the problem. They get better and Jett will too! First 3 laps is where (Jett) can get beaten. Provided a bad start of course.

Big Nicoletti fan and also really like Barcia plus he doesn't do a whole lot of call ins and stuff like this but I just couldn't stand to listen to this anymore. I'm sure Kenny has a good heart and might even be a decent person but every single sentence anybody else said he interrupted with a story about himself or completely asked a different question. He's not listening, he's just waiting for the noise you're making to end so he can say his next thing, often having nothing to do with what you're saying. Bummer cause the other dude hardly talked prob cause he knows he's just gonna get interrupted and I actually was kind of interested in hearing what the quiet one might have to say. Never seen either of those dudes but he seemed like a pretty cool dude actually but probably spends enough time with the other dude to know it's not even worth talking. Sad I couldn't listen to more than 60 seconds of what Barcia had to say because by time I got that far I just couldn't take it anymore. We want to hear what the pros are saying... That's why we tune in. I rarely leave negative comments on anybody's stuff but I morally couldn't exit the video and not tell the next person how terrible this was. I would feel bad if another person wasted the time I did .
