Small town guys in the PNW seem to drink Coors Lite more than not 😂 I grew up drinking it as the standard 18 pack or case as the base for the night

Oh definitely, very professional when he was in the business. But as soon as he got out he couldn’t wait to go back to the country boy life. Dudes rural Washington all the way.

Guys get then in sports don’t worry about the trophy’s get them on a team where they have to go to practice perform and be part of winning and losing. Keep them in them all the way up! I’ve done it both ways limited sports and sports. It’s always better raising them in sports!

Great conversation with Dungey & Villopoto ! Also, coming from the generation that produced riders like Magoo and Darryl Schultz, both of whom I raced against, I tend to think that each generation believes the "next" generation is a little bit softer. Example, we rode 45min motos back my era. Anyway, it was really interesting hearing R.V. take on that with respect to Aldon Baker's program. Enjoyed the interview so much, had to listen to it twice 👍👍

"No there was never any of that" *me recalling that "pass" in that left hander at St Louis in 2010* 🤣 I can see that whole outcome in my head like I saw it 2 minutes ago haha. That season was really heating up for a battle for the title until a few laps latter when RV got wheel spin when it was down into the plywood in the bottom of the transition leading into that alreadyb technical 3 out into that corner... he had to hit the eject button and roll up the windows, that was a brutal crash and he was fortunate they were able to fix his leg as good as they were able to, that could of been a potential career ending injury. Next to Ken that was one of the worst breaks I've seen from a title contender

I bet Dungey was mad that he didn't get a chance to boot RV the night he broke his leg. He was bringing it.

RV talking about how he can see everything going on on the track but he can get totally sideways in the whoops and not remember is a nice look into one of the reasons why he was so damn good. You see a lot of guys make a mistake and it gets in their head and takes some time to get back up to their pace, but guys like RV can make a mistake and move on like no big deal and pick it right back up again.

Bakers has to cater to personality type as well . Lots of guys train their that don’t win championships but a lot of champions come from there , place strikes me as the type of place that somebody who fits in the military would like . The thinking is taken out of it , the structure is there and the routine is there , u just show up and do the work . Folks whose heads are in this more and wanting of their chill time , folks that still are told what to do but in a way that they feel they aren’t like an Anderson or a cooper fight the process where a dungey or Osborne just plug in . Anderson’s ect tend to act as if they are feeling out of control of their life , that they want to be in charge , but if their mindset from jump was different , if they just understood they are in charge and that they are choosing to trust an aldon take over that part of their life they would flourish . And dungwy is right , it’s ten years and assuming all these guys want to look back on these ten years and see some championships ect then head down n go . The havasu days of McGrath and emig and being able to thoroughly enjoy themselves during their time on top are gone . Go drinking for the weekend and u won’t be able to compete . Guessing in the very small off time could enjoy some of that success , but to be a supercross champion ect is different these days . Shit none of the guys on the line these days are even buddies with each other , not to the extent the guys hung out in the 90’s. The level of training and athleticism is now so high that unless you have an aldon that takes that whole part over if your life you will drown , too much to do by just training and getting ready to have to think about setting up your training ect . Carmichael ruined it for everyone and now it’s too proven . Folks want to train and be good and enjoy their moment in the sun then whole thing would have to change or ya try and build a following and free ride your way into the hearts and minds .

Buuuuut, you were that close to WINNING! If I just coulda, woulda, shoulda.....hard to accept. Having the “if you ain’t first your last” mindset is what makes these guys this great.

The more dungey talks about this stuff the less I like him and he was my guy years ago. He whined anytime someone did anything to him while racing. Now it’s all ok and racing. Rv I’m starting to like alot more. He’s always been the same guy.

Don't forget Dungey had to help build the KTM from the ground up if Roger De Coster stuck with Suzuki there is good odds Dungey would have been more competitive in the early 2010's

I’m a huge RV fan, but I’ve always wondered what the results would have looked like if Dungey was working with Aldon Baker 2011-2014 instead of RV.

@reddawn1487
@reddawn1487 2 жыл бұрын
Everybody starting coffee company’s these days , weird how everybody follows leader and thinks they Gna be just as successful . Soon it will be dog food company that caters to all the instagram dog parents , market not saturated and can sell the whole lifestyle , cool dogs in tactical outfits lol . Or soda company . Being in minnesota a beer company that invokes the old hamms bear nostalgia could also be the way , just feel everyone doing coffee ever since the success of black rifle not considering that they are niche, they selling a lot due to selling directly to a demographic first , once big in that demo with tons of help from KZfaq channels ect , they now have expanded past to cabellas ( still in their base demo ) a huge retailer ect . Hope it works out for him , he friends with some guys I know from growing up in chaska and hear is a solid guy . Wish him nothing but success . Wonder what dungey thinks is better breakfast Emma krumbees ( based on grub only ) or wampachs?
