Pulsar has made a name for themselves with just a few plugins.

The preamp saturation in this "reverb" plugin is a hidden gem and better than so many dedicated saturation plugins. Quality in every detail

I can absolutely assure anyone who is curious that this plugin is absolutely fantastic! I have the pleasure of working on the beta team for Pulsar so I've spent some time with the plugin already and just like every other plugin they develop this one is top notch. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

I have the '63 Fender spring reverb tank and I've been spoiled and scoff at every spring reverb plugin I've heard. Until now. This actually sound very, very good. It has real actual depth. Not surprised with Pulsar.

Honesty this plugin and electric guitar is a match made in heaven

@@TheChrisVella I'm super pleased that it has a ton of useful presets. I NEVER would have put a spring reverb on a master out or for a room tone. However, the non-guitar presets sound great. One of the presets immediately sounded to me like a classic Pink Floyd room tone that I could never figure out! It's getting better :)

I’ve got a nice amount of plugins in the arsenal, One thing I can say without a doubt, every plug in I’ve gotten from Pulsar is amazing. Anyone who hasn’t heard of them, try the demos Out, slap it on a bus for example and just leave alone on default and you’ll see what I mean. There stuff can do some magic on your sounds and grooves. Great job on this one Pulsar Fam. 🔥

For a moment i thought this was a Pulsar Modular video, then i noticed you are friendly and not a total d!ck. 😂 The two logos are too similar. Anyway- this sounds just great! Love spring reverb. Will purchase your plugin to support your business. (I wouldn’t buy a Pulsar Modular plugin.) The drive sounds great, even without the reverb! 🥰

a bit of a latecomer. already invested in Klanghelm TENS and Fuse Labs VREV-63, which are amazing in their own right. if this came out a bit earlier, I'd have the opportunity to test and maybe make a decision in favor of Pulsar. I'll save Primavera on my shopping list for BF sales. hopefully you'll have sales then.

Nice demo, sounds good to me, is it high on cpu? Also what's the piano vi?
@TheChrisVella5 ай бұрын
Thank you man! It didn’t seem to intense on the CPU to be honest and the piano is Hammers and Waves 😊

Unfortunately Klanghelm TENS already does this extremely well and to my ears sounds more convincing. Your reverb seems to be way too concerned with the boing and kind of forgetting the other parts. The boings also sound too static somehow.
@esahm3735 ай бұрын
Klanghelm TENS is (according to the developer!!) not even trying to recreate the typical "boingy" sound typically associated with spring reverbs. Instead it's based on AKG BX high-end studio spring devices that deliberately try to avoid the classical "boing". I find this demo video of Primavera very convincing and promising in terms of more traditional spring reverb sound. Klanghelm TENS is great in it's own right, but I would use it more for scenarios where I typically would use a plate or a small room reverb, not the "surf guitar" spring.
@niklassilen43135 ай бұрын
@@esahm373Fair point. I've been demoing the Primavera plugin and it does do the "boing" surf thing quite well but my comments on that particular part still stand. Not sure how they are doing the modeling (probably some kind of physical model) but it still feels a bit off. We have a few spring reverbs available at the studio and none of them have the boings so sharp (just the initial transient of it) and the decay of the series of blips sounds almost extended. My main point was that it kind of screams "listen to the boing!". It's just slightly over done somehow.

@@niklassilen4313 I agree, obvious in the Dom Sigalas video, who compares it to hardware.

I am not looking for a spring reverb but I will try it as demo. If you release the preamp as separate plugin, that would be very interesting.

Spring reverbs sound so vintage in anyway but it is like a obession on me. They don’t fit most of mixes but i cant help myself to avoid to buy them 😢😂

Not bad, but… Those boings are too static, sounds more like a sample played back once a threshold been reached. Those boings / drip is such an integral and important Sound of a spring reverb to make it convincing

U got kinda unlucky because klanghelm dropped TENS recently and tbth I think this isnt even coming close in terms of usability
