Pulwasha beti I have two daughters in law and I am very sick at the moment I never asked my daughter in law to cook for me or made something for me I already had two big surgery waiting for hip surgery and back surgery again I can't walk properly but beti still doing some house work some house work my husband is retiring next month I was good cook I can't make anything so bought food from outside my three children is highly educated Alhmdulilah daughter is Birmingham University lecturer she is she is studying PhD in same university and be coming professor soon InshaAllah eldest son is architect he is working for big company and he's also secondary school teacher as well young son is biomedical sicastas working in two hospital Birmingham both married I gave all my life to them to make them good person and education iam not complaining anything but still thinking if they married in family things will be different iam very religious parson I treat them both like my own daughter if I made something I asked my son to take it iam happy for my sons but beti as I told you iam not very well I want people around me I leave everything to Allah pak beti make sure when your son is getting married check they family first

Aunty, I wish you well. But you did mention you are a religious person so I will tell you this. In Islam, a daughter in law is not obligated to look after her in laws. If she does, it is a sadqa for her to do so out of the goodness of her heart, not fard. But, it is absolutely your son’s obligations and daughter’s to look after you. Maybe she offered in the past and you said no, and she assumes you are independent and want to do things on your own? Have you explicitly asked her for help? Lastly, as one person commented talk to your doctor and ask them to send you nurses and help staff to take care of you and help with cooking and housework. This is paid with your taxes so you wont pay extra for it.

Acha insan bardash kar kar ke indar se itna Toot gaya hota hai ke jub tuk us ke apne bache is kabil hote ke use sambhalen, us insane ke indar se tote howe hise gum ho gae hote hain, phr sub jitne bhi koshish kar len us insan ko dobara pehle shakal me wapis nahi la sakte.
