Loved the look of these and was able to grab them on Puma on release day. 1/2 sized up based on one of your reviews for extra toebox room as a bit of a wide footer. I got them for casual wear and am happy to have the extra room, but if wearing for play, TTS would be the way to go. Puma is killing it with these, and especially at the price point ($135 CAD), it's putting some of the other big brands to shame that are charging twice as much. Welcome to the team Jackson!

Wow Chris retiring at such an earth age really going to miss the footage of you at gyms or outdoor courts with Jodi & occasionally 1 other guests. Hopefully you will maybe sneak in a review or even just a follow up review from time to time. There’s also still plenty of people who really only love the style of basketball shoes and are more concerned with the materials and the step-in standing comfort of these performance shoes rather than actually playing in them which I myself have succumbed to more with age and I suspect some of your other viewers in they’re late 30s & early 40s will as well. Your videos have an almost therapeutic affect on me in a really positive way, it’s always a wonderful feeling when I get the notification of a new video you guys have just put up. No one breaks down the “nuts and bolts” of shoes better than you Chris thank you for everything you’ve done to contribute to this niche passion I feel like you are the founding foundation father of all basketball performance video reviews.

I finally hit on a Puma MB.01 and it was this pair. They look and feel great. I went a half size up bc some reviews (including 2 of yours) said to go up half size if you wanted extra toe room, and I prob could have gone TTS. I see on the apps they are dropping a bunch of new colorways: white/white, white/red, red/green, purple, so I might try to cop another. Welcome Jackson, Luke, and Alan (or Allen)!

It’s awesome how you stopped doing performance reviews but you still let us know what basketball shoes you like that you’ve played in!

The Puma evolution in basketball sneakers is one to take notice, not only from their classic design of the 1970s Puma Clyde to the current silhouettes. Other brands signature shoes are not as detailed or better designed. I think Puma is an alternative to the other brands, they hold their own and punch above their weight.

Just saw a model from Puma called the TRC blaze court which looks eerily similar to the Clyde all pro. Considering checking them out since I can never get my hands on the MB.01

The new Puma shoe is the TRC Blaze Court and it looks like they are doing pro foam+ and Pebax just like the Puma Clyde All Pro

The name could be better like just the Melo 1 or Lamelo 1. Funny story i work pt at DSG and a customer was asking for puma sneakers bc he's a trainer and heard good things about their shoes. I told him with only had like 2 pairs of court riders and no embiid shoes. I took him if he wants embiids shoe to go to the underarmour outlet and he said MB no EMBiid. I was comfused bc they sound very similiar. XD
