Narrated by I.P. Freely. This movie was made in 1980, which was the year I was born, so maybe I too have the inherited space god puma powers to rear project major cities, fly clumsily in the air at 2 miles per hour, constantly whine, complain and thrown fits, play dead to fool my enemies, bounce around pointlessly, and so on. I'm glad how this little collection of my favorite show is turning out, and if you're not familiar with the show just be ready to laugh, something you should be doing everyday if possible.

In a movie full of great ones. I think my favorite is when Crow accurately points this out about Vadinyo (The Onion guy) "So basically the hero is THIS GUY. I think it's time we face that fact!" XD

The guy who played "The Pumaman" is almost 40 years old here. The blonde woman apparently was a fairly well known actress in Italy and had a long career and worked with some top actors over the years in Europe. She was originally from Akron, Ohio....so, not bad.

You know, along with pumas not being known for flying, I always wanted to point out to them that the Aztecs didn't live in the Andes Mountains. Mexico is like 3000 miles away from Peru.

Maybe they were confusing Aztecs and Incas. Cant remember if the inca territory included the Andes but closer than Mexico.

It gets lost in the full movie but The Onion killed at least 4 innocent people before he found our "Hero."

I didn't know that, and it makes me want to watch some more of these full versions that MST3K had to cut into due to time restraints. I saw scenes of 'This Island Earth' that were cut out, and 'with' the riffs! They were hilarious too!

It's not explained by the movie very well, but Vadinho wasn't the one defenestrating random dudes. Tony says something to the effect of "I'm not going to let you throw any more people out of windows," and then Vadinho tells him about his father being the Pumaman and says "I did not have to kill to find you."

Yeah. Those other guys were thrown out of the window by Pleasance goons because they were trying to find the Pumaman! Vadinho threw Tony out the window knowing he was Pumaman. He just wanted to show Tony that he was Pumaman!!!

Donald P. is a somewhat famous actor and there have been tremendous movies made on similar budgets. So, wow, what a stinker of epic and historical proportions this movie is! Thank goodness that what could have been a total tragic waste of money and time was in the end transformed into brilliant comedy gold. Pure genius!

If they could sort out the fight choreography and the flying 'effects', the film would be 80 percent better for it. In fact, a lot of the other 20 percent could be fixed with better music.
