That's heart-breaking. Your soil is so sandy it probably dries out real quick, but at least it drains good! Sorry about your pumpkins.

You jynxed me! Now I got racoons in my sweet corn! After watching those squirells cause you trouble! I borrowed a live trap. They tested most of the ears, picked the good ones and ate every kernel and piles the chewed up cobs in 2 neat piles!

I've watched all your pumpkin videos, i had planted the seed from last years halloween jack o lantern, and squirrels ate them all out of the ground. But now, one randomly sprung up! So i am trying to keep it alive. Hopefully i will get a pumpkin, i doubt it but your videos have shown me what to do, so thank you!

Yea it is really sandy Im on top it now though Ive added more compost manure and covered some of the vines hopefully they will root and get stronger

Hi jay sorry to see your pumpkin in that state. Pumpkin needs a lot of compost and manure. The leaves have to be big and fat than you know it is a healthy enough plant to produce fruit. So that amount of soil is only for a couple pants, otherwise you have than amazing things in your garden
