You don't buy a flute just because of its looks. There is so much testing that needs to be done, including: pitch accuracy at all tone holes, volume and tone consistency at all tone holes, responsiveness (there are so many different aspects to this), how well the holes are undercut, extent of jivari, etc.

I purchased one c middle thtough Clarence sale of punam flute. Its making is not good In thar sthayi d is below level and Manthra sthayi pa to ni i get windy sound

Clearance flute is really not good and that you realise when you have both normal and clearance sale flute. What I noticed that flute is in tune there is little bend or oval shape and some natural spot those are not problem problem is the quality of Bamboo is not good.

I have no idea what you just said. Are/were you happy with your purchase? What was the price after sale? What type of flute is it (bansuri or venu)? Edit: I'm guessing it's bansuri because of the 6 holes.

Yes I'm happy with my purchase. 1850 rup this is B scale bansuri. I have told everything in this video. Where is you feel problem in this video? I recommend to see this video complete for some more useful information if you understand hindi. 😊

@@getgiveknowledge8855 1850 rupees maybe a little too expensive for me as a beginner. I'm interested in purchasing a carnatic flute for beginners and was looking more in the range of max 500 rupees. No problem with your video. I just wasn't able to follow what you were saying because I don't speak the language. Thank you for responding.

Yeah it's expensive. I just recommend make sure you purchase any flute should be tuned. Otherwise wrong sound may create problem in future to understand sargam. And good luck 🤗

Ask any professional flute player, that bend flute they never use in concerts... Professional flute players never suggest bend flute... So never try such bend flutes... If u r beginner n want to learn flute than it is okay.... Otherwise don't buy clearance sale flute.

I appreciate your opinion. But this flute doesn't have any bend or if is there that is diminished in form which is not recognizable for me. It has some spot on it only. Some experts tells from spot fiber can come out or break.
