Punch Hack You've Never Seen!

Watch along with today's video for a punch trick you've never seen before! I discovered that if I punch partway through a piece of paper, I can create a paper folding technique that is so simple, unique and beautiful! You can leave this neat card making technique as it is, or even weave ribbon or twine through some of the openings. Watch along and try this punch hack yourself!

Hello, Anna! "Take delight in the Lord....". A number of years ago, I was sitting at my sewing machine doing hand-guided embroidery. My whole heart was filled with a warm joy, doing something I love, creating beauty with my hands. Suddenly I sensed Jesus standing behind me, looking over my shoulder, and I could feel His joy, as He watched me enjoy a special gift He had given me. A wonderful, worshipful moment! I feel that way sometimes when I'm making my cards too, especially when I find a particular color combination that delights both my eyes and my heart. "Thou dost show me the path of life; in Thy presence there is fullness of joy; in Thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.". Psalm 16.11. Love you, Anna! Love your cards, techniques and especially your life/faith sharing. Many times people of Faith or those experiencing difficulties are silenced and I appreciate your courage in speaking out. Hopefully your light will illuminate others and spread.🙏🏻. I’m 75 years old and just completed reading the Bible cover to cover from January 1st 2023-December 31st 2023. I did it with Bible in a Year in the Hallow app. It was very helpful to understanding some of the difficult parts. Blessings to you and your family❤

You are so right about quieting ourselves . Have realized I keep essentially tuning out and need to purposely connect with God and read my Bible more. Thank you. Feel like God is speaking to me and encouraging me to turn to Him.

Wow that’s very creative. It’s very hard to pick a card when they are both beautiful, but I think the slimline card is my favorite, maybe because of the purple color which I love. Love today’s Bible verse. Thank you Anna.

I am so touched by your courage and your faith....I read through the bible a few years ago and I am trying to do it again this year.....and every time I read a passage that I know I read before it speaks to me in a whole nother way.....God is good....we ought to praise Him always.....but remember His love is not contingent on our being perfect.....He has adopted us as his own and once we know him as a personal Savior He will never ever ever turn away....no matter what.....thanks for sharing and I love the card idea

Thank you for sharing! I love the punch idea! Prosperity gospel preachers would have you believe that this means God will give you the things you want in your life. But if you delight yourself in the Lord, the desire of your heart is more of the Lord and what he wants for you, not what you want for yourself.

Loved the idea of partially punching. I've just part punched a 2" daisy punch and then folded the petals,then put into another slightly smaller circle die 1 3/4" and punched that out, it looks great and different. Did it on pink girlie card going to try on more masculine card/paper now. Thanks for sharing this idea Anna.

Beautiful and so creative! I saw the punch hack video you did previously when auditioning both sides of the designer paper. I will need to purchase the set of punches you used, however I have many of the retired punches, as a hobby demonstrator I tend to only buy what I truly will use long term. The slim line card is my favorite card, however they are all beautiful. My second one was the border one with the ribbon.😊❤❤❤ Your scripture verse today is one of those of which I choose (as a new believer in 1982) to commit to memory and as a daily prayer. First verse was Proverbs 1:7; second was Ps. 66: 16,17, “18”, 19; Ps. 37: 3 to 5; and Proverbs 3: 5+6. But I must say I appreciate what you have done to remind me of other scriptures to which I have kind of forgotten in these days of opinions…When Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees, Matthew 12: 34b, 36 and 37. Today I just want to thank you and wish you well, and I think it’s wonderful to commit to reading the scriptures throughout the year. I have done it years ago with a fantastic reading guideline and I have decided to pull it out again and use it again this year. ❤❤❤blessings.

Thanks for sharing your faith and your thoughts about it all. Last year I read through the whole Bible with a "course" titled "Bible Recap" ----it's a great way to read the Bible. There is a book that guides us through the reading with a daily schedule of what to read and some thoughts on what we read. I am doing it again this year. Every time we read the scriptures we find more that we didn't see or understand before. Thanks for your punch hack as well. I am going to look through my punches to see what I can do with the ones I have.

Anna, thank you so much for sharing your message at the end of today's video. You speak the truth! John 15:7!! God desires us to abide in him. I wake up every morning and cannot wait to get into my Bible. It really is life's instruction book, straight from God. The Holy Spirit makes the word of God come alive! The punch hack is great. I don't have the punches you used, so I hope that a couple of mine work! As for spending time with God, I just got a new Kindle and put The Holy Bible on it so I can spend more time reading it no matter where I am. No excuses!

Love how you give scripture in your video. May I ask what denomination you belong to? I'm just curious. There are so many people who have gone to church all their lives and have never read the bible cover to cover. Once you do a few times, you know not to be deceived by those who misrepresent the scriptures. That's a wonderful verse!! So encouraged when I hear people are getting into the word of God!!

As you read the whole Bible, don't forget to read the Deuterocanon, which was included as Scriptures for the first 1000 of the Bible. 😊

Thank you for sharing Anna! Great technique. I agree with you. Paul urged us in view of God’s mercy to present our bodies as living sacrifices holy and pleasing to God. I thank my God for His mercies that are new every morning and that even when we are not faithful He is! Even while we were sinners Christ died for us. 🩵
