Sorry for so many comments but I keep typing before I've finished watching and keep having more things to say lol. I'm betraying my age with this comment, but this top-shelf dubby techy housy takes me back to the Red Melon Records days in the Bay Area, epic parties. All I knew was Trance back then, they opened me up to so much more. You're nailing it pattern after pattern and they're all _yours_ , most DJs can't move the vibe consistently like this throughout each track without any weak spots and they've got everyone's tracks to choose from, while you've only got _your_ patterns. Just fucking excellent all around.

great session! You really mastered the transition game. The Buchla sound fits well. Do you clock the 250e with triggers or midi? Does it keep in sync when switching presets?
@EhsanGelsi2 жыл бұрын
Thx man! I clock it with triggers, the MIDI, I find, lags and drifts for clock but I use it for notes. It keeps sync when switching this way, but it's always a bit of a gamble where the phrasing will end up!

Thx! Hunt through my videos and you'll find the system up close. It's basically a Skylab with added 261e, 250e 291e, 281e and 256e.

Reality in music is distorted. How it comes to the surface all this bullshit that is released and promoted in electronic music? You deserve triple platinum album sales easily and I am not talking about money here, I am referring to recognition and respect.

0:45 - needs an advisory for that kick to come in like that! Holy! Is the Launch Control doing midi > cv to the Buchla or is it controlling levels on the Elektron's?
@EhsanGelsi2 жыл бұрын
🍸 I'm using the computer as a mixer, Overbridge for the Digi's and input for the Buchla, and just have volume faders and a filter mapped to the LCXL.
@MrMarcLaflamme2 жыл бұрын
@@EhsanGelsi oh okay so we’re you using any processing on the computer on the mix channels? Wondering how you got the kick and bass to sit so extremely well together! (Also was that bass from the Digitone?)
@EhsanGelsi2 жыл бұрын
@@MrMarcLaflamme I'm using Cubase like a digital mixer basically. I've got a bunch of plugins on everything and a turd polisher at the end of the chain to try to knock the mix into shape a bit. The whole set is all just Digitakt, Digitone and Buchla, all the basses are from the 'tone :)
@MrMarcLaflamme2 жыл бұрын

I found this video of yours before I'd even purchased my first synth: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rtChm5Vex6_WqX0.html It served as a big inspiration and led to the M32 being my first, and now I'm in deep baby! Sorry it took me so long to get around to subscribing, that video was 3 years old at the time and I didn't realize you were still active. Your studio seems to have grown since then! Great sounds ❤

This makes me so happy. I hope you get a lot of joy from your musical endeavours, just like I have. And yes, I'm still active! Slowed down occasionally perhaps, but still kicking!

I love Big Nights In. It's one of the best synth sets I've ever heard. Up there with Tangram. This just reminds me of typical techno/rave stuff that bores me to death. It sounds like 30min of the same thing.
