A disciplined defence and midfield plus a sharp attack can aid Real Madrid in this tie. Am deeply convinced Real can go through if the coach deploys the right tactics. Hala Madrid!

Modric $ Kroos won’t play together again, Tchuameni will be playing, with Camavinga & Valverde in the middle. 3. They lost Gundogan, we have added Bellingham. 4. As a City fan I have two things to say. 1 - This tie is losing that flavour now, would have been a great final this time, it's gonna be 6 games in 3 seasons, we're pretty much in a league - we play each other twice a season. 2nd thing - I believe Madrid will go through if Grealish is not back fit for the two legs. If Grealish is back I don't think Camavinga, Vini, Jude and Tchouameni will all 4 avoid a second yellow card with Grealish on the field. We are not underestimating real Madrid. We have seen them this season against the big guys and even against leipzig. They weren't quite good in terms of playing style. Look at how leipzig is and created lots of chances even at our home. We haven't really played great this season so coming up against Man City is quite a hurdle to overcome.

I think they were forced too because Pep attacks a lot at the Etihad but defends in away games to settle for a draw. It's a bit naive to think you can suddenly become a pressing team and coach and replicate what Klopp has trained Liverpool for years. My humble opinion on the tie 😊: Last year, I was very confident City would beat Real comfortably. This year, I'm not that confident mostly because City have not beat a good EPL team at home (United is not a good team) Real was very good against Napoli, and Girona, but Napoli are not so good this season. The way Real played RB Leipzig was very poor. You have to question Real Madrid true levels this season after that game. They played two poor games in the tie in my opinion. City also haven't played their best levels yet. They haven't beaten a big 6 team apart from Man U. But they have scored 3 or more goals in every (8) UCL games this season. City will play Arsenal at the Etihad this week. That game will tell me a lot about City this season. If City struggle to win or don't win Arsenal, I'll have the tie as 50-50 with Real Madrid. Then, Real Madrid should be expecting and must win at the Bernabue to realistically progress. In general, I think this tie should be closer than last year in scores. But I will say City are my favourites, especially because it's two legs.
