Punggol 2 Room BTO with OCS Renovated!

Жыл бұрынThis is a 2 room government built HDB, Housing and Development Board flat which was purchased with the full optional component scheme (OCS). The owner has completed his renovations after about five weeks.

Yes, I wish I did. Incidentally, the community care apartments are about that size. I was planning on doing a video to explain what they are.

Like the wardrobe in this video can changed to one with no mirror . If the BTO flat come complete with OCS, can alterations be done? My friend was informed her BTO 2 room flat that no alterations or fittings can be done in the toilet. Please advise is possible to remove the mirror in the toilet and replace the space with a 2 levels simple shelves. (Must get HDB'approval?) Thanks.

As far as I know, there should not be any problem if you do alterations. When you receive your flat keys, all the do and don'ts will be made known to you. Where did your friend get this information about the toilet? Was it directly from HDB? Anyway, if you have doubts contact the HDB and consult them directly.

Hi, the induction cooktop was changed by which contractor and how much did it cost?

An adaptor was used for the induction cooker. That was supplied by Sincero Pte Ltd. 1003 Eunos Ave 8, #01-45. Tel 68419133. Cost around $150.00

Hi, can advise whether the owner has got to apply permit for adding power points to his kitchen cabinet which has only the hob n hood switches bef renovation?

Hi Dorothy, the owner used the current power plug to attach the wire for the lighting.

He bought it from La Cafa, furniture showroom at Enterprise One building, 1 Kaki Bukit Road 1, (shop at street level).

Hi Cynthia, are you referring to all the carpentry work as well as the other works done? That would be challenging as I recall the owner telling me he used many different people. Can I suggest you take the ideas from here and then ask your contractor to quote you?

OCS packages have different levels. Some people opt for the whole package - vinyl flooring, kitchen cabinets, bedroom wardrobe, grilles etc. Whereas some would just opt for only the flooring or not to opt for anything at all.

Generally, all OCS packages are similar and within an estate may vary in colour or style for example.
