Most of the people have passed away with an unfulfilled ardent desire in their heart, to see their birth place and meet their childhood friends. Punjabi Lehar is attempting to fufil the desire of remaining partition era punjabis, who will be gone in the next five to seven years. My elders shifted from near Hujjan tehsil Bhalwal and nearby villages Uppi and Rawana and our haveli was in our own land, called haveli Chander sain now its name is haveli AF Khan. Chander sain was my great grandfather. I have heard about Mandi Bahaudin, it was some what near that area. Lot of good wishes for all.

Initially Whole Punjab was given to Pakistan but later hindu Congress divided it. If Punjab was not divided, all people of Punjab would have stayed in their places and no one had to migrate. We could have avoided violence.

Then what about the two-nation theory of Jinnah ? Muslims were saying that they have nothing in common with non-muslims and therefore need their own separate country ? Then how was it possible for non-muslims to stay with Muslims in united Punjab? Muslims were saying "Pakistan is Matlab kya- la illaha Ill Allah" meaning Pakistan is only for Muslims and only Allah will be worshipped then how was it possible for non-muslims to accept that ? In Pakistan only Urdu will be taught and used then how was it possible for Punjabi and Hindi speaking non-muslims to accept that ? The bottom line is that it was very important to divide Punjab between muslims and non-muslims.
