he did buffer he was just in blockstun so you couldnt see it. Pretty sure hes playing on pad so you wont hear him buffering it, d pads are usually pretty quiet.

I’m assuming top players know how to avoid/counter it. As a lowly plat 1 player though, it’s my bread and butter.

Personally I much prefer the PS4 controller to the ps5 one and I have reasonably large hands. I'm not the best at Street fighter or anything but I'm not terrible, I use the dpad for executions, not the analogue stick and I don't know your preference. If I had a choice I'd actually prefer a PS2 controller because I don't like the L2 and R2 triggers being so sensitive as I occasionally catch them trying to use another button which messes up what I'm trying to do. The answer I'd probably give if you're intent on using a controller is to look for one that you find comfortable and easy to use, maybe a third party one if you're serious about the game. I think fixed buttons rather than pressure sensitive triggers are definitely an advantage though. I'm unsure as to what the PS5 supports outside of the official controllers but as my version of Street Fighter 5 is the ps5 one, I don't have the option of using a PS4 controller and my execution of certain things suffers for it. For street fighter 5 I would use a PS4 controller wherever possible over the ps5 one. If I was entirely focussed on beat em ups or even street fighter in general I would invest myself, but as it's something I play on and off between other games it isn't a massive deal for me. @@killme4569 He really isn't though. He has losing matchups to basically every top 5 character except Guile and Dee Jay. Cammy, Ken, Juri, and Luke are all very good against JP.

As a JP player can confirm, JP is full of bullshit, but not at all broken or cheap. I don't think any character in SF6 is borderline broken or cheap. Moreso just infuriating and annoying *looking at you Ken Masters*

As a non JP player he's more broken than Bison has never been.

Quit the downplay this character isnt top 5 because the top 5 is strong if they made nerfs im sure hed sneak his way into him. The fact everything you do puts your opponent back to fullscreen and your aa is stupid simple unless someone crosses up.

Trying to not be biased cause of my personal experiences against JP. He definitely seems broken as it's hard for virtually every character to deal with him once he gets set up but I'll extend an olive branch. The times I do get in as Jamie JP players literally have no idea what to do. Ifeel like JP either does really good or really bad he gets setup he wins most the time he gets rushed before that he gets blown up since he has no invincible DP. It's all good though once my actual main comes out (Rashid) imma bully tf out of JP players for all the pain they caused me.

@@Ekim2F94 JP is very good when at far range or mid range but up close he struggles. Doesn't help that Jamie is a tricky matchup for him too, even if it leans a bit more onto JP's favor
