Muy buen trabajo!! interesante y didáctico! Mi nombre es Pep Toni, de Palma de Mallorca, maestro artesano encordador de sillas y cestero de palmito (es el material que en Mallorca disponemos). Sin embargo siempre me ha llamado la atención el trabajo con esparto, principalmente el punto de cofín, soy prácticamente autodidacta y había intentado varias veces hacerlo, más o menos lo conseguí, pero con tus videos he atado muchos cabos sueltos que tenia. Enhorabuena por tus vídeos, el punto de cofín es muy chulo. Me gustaría saber como se termina un canasto de punto de cofin cuando llegas a la ultima vuelta. Un saludo

Hola nuevamente... Acabo de darme cuenta que utiliza esparto fresco, se puede hacer con esparto seco? Me está costando que no se me deshaga el comienzo... O lo hago mal...

Hola Andrea, normalmente coges el esparto en verano y lo dejas secar al sol 3-4 semanas. Cuando lo vas a utilizar lo dejas a remojo un día (lo tienes en el vídeo "herramientas y materia prima"). Si lo has recogido ayer, dejalo un par de días a la sombra para que cierre y se seque un poco y ya lo puedes usar

Hola Carlos, un saludo desde España. Voy a colgar un vídeo del esparto en Herencia , Ciudad Real, que habla de la enea puede que te de ideas. Yo nunca lo he hecho pero supongo que si se puede. Ya nos dirás Mira en lista de reproducción - videos, espero que te guste.

Your channel is outstanding! In Fact, I think you just solved a mystery I have been trying to hunt down. In this video this gentleman seems to be using a similar technique that you are demonstrating for us here. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jNJ2hLtzq9OaYH0.html I love your videos as I can easily follow along and get a feel for each technique you share with us. Is this the same technique or am I missing something. The video I shared with you seems to cut away just when it would of been more helpful to repeat the technique one more time on camera. The starting is also missing. Thank you for your time and especially your videos!

Hello , yes you are right, it is "punto de confín al medio". This man has more "milles" than I. He introduces the new espartos into the fabric, with this approach he almost does not need to cut the "heads". Also, he finalices the basket with a "trenza" doing so he reinforces the edge, very clever In the first part of the video he makes an "alpargata". I will load a video with this technic very soon.
