If anyone cannot continue to take care of an animal, please surrender them to a shelter, don't be ashamed of it. It's heartless and cruel to abandon a member of your family like this.

All the shelters in my area are full and so are the fosters. It's a nationwide problem. Local govt. must start having free spay/neutering clinics. It's the only way to stop the suffering and neglect.

This is the problem: folks get pets to amuse them or fulfill emotional voids. As such, folks do not have a mindset that is honestly based on interacting with a living thing. It’s an objective mindset first, and when an object outlives its usefulness, folks throw it away. This is why I think pet ownership needs far more qualification guidelines and certifications.

Agree. Mr Rogers said ‘look for the people helping’ when you feel discouraged at humans being awful. It is so easy to be awful and reflects our strength to be kind. Love this vid.

Well thats rude.. and you're not the one to judge about anything, God the all mighty is. Some people don't have choices, what if shelters couldn't take a cats or dogs because they are greedy and want money in order to take them? Similar type of situation when i was in FL, they wanted 50$ and plus for to take my two kittys and one was not neutered. I had to go, we were becoming homeless in a truck for a few months because someone was kicking us out. Nothing you can do.

@redcatt, I am 100% on board with what you said. Our lawmakers are eunichs No balls. What are they so afraid of. All we need is a law that gets you imprisoned if you mistread an animal. We should not have to spell it out for them. Politician, lawmakers useless creatures.

When she said "cactus" I thought plants like my ornamental ones in Europe. Those spines removed from the poor dog are like daggers!Unbelievable. I hope the young lady's encounter with the cactus was "resolved comfortably".

This cruelty NEVER STOPS!! Poor Pete was left out in tornado weather and stuck in a cactus!! This wonderful person cam along and did THE RIGHT THING!! Hopefully someone will adopt him and give him a loving home!! Thank You for doing this for Pretty Pete!!😊❤!!

It’s Incredible to see Giggling Earth-Angels saving a Pup during a Tornado..! I’m sure Angels in Heaven were laughing & smiling too as they watched Petey gets a chance to a brand new life without Cactus sticking on this Happy Puppy..! Love his Smile & Bless these Rescuers who did the Right Thing with Brilliant Humour as they were picking up their Shoes out of the Mud & picking out the Cactus out of their bodies - Brilliant Ladies..!!!
