Why do you assume no dog gotten as a surprise is kept? You do know people will go and adopt a pet themselves and then abandon them. Are you this dramatic every time someone gets a pet?

Many times when you see things like that, people could 100% provide care for that dog when they got them and situations changed. Or their needed surgery is so expensive and something no one would have anticipated and only the very wealthy can afford. People aren't giving pets to the mail carrier or the teller at the bank. They give them to people they know that they know have cared for animals previously and can now. Or they are giving them to their own children knowing they will have to teach them how to care for them and provide care themselves. I keep pointing out to people like you that I've seen people choose a pet for themselves that is too much for them either physically or financially and then have to give the pet up or it just suffers. So rather than trying to control people who have already given these pets... DO SOMETHING TO HELP. Trolling these videos to say the same things over and over again after the affect is just for you. You can't think this is helpful. No one is impressed by your drama

I do realize that circumstances change and I have donated to such causes because I can’t stand the thought of the dog suffering. I can only help so much as I have a dog, two cats, and a bird that I have adopted. I just ache at the thought of an animal suffering because the owner can’t pay for the vet bills. It’s hard right now. Just be certain the person that is being gifted a dog, really wants it.

They are excited and surprised and happy. It's normal. And the puppies are fine within moments. I knocked a couple of pans out of my dish drainer this morning and scared my dog half to death.... How dare I. After jumping out of his skin, he immediately started wagging his tail and came over to sniff the pans I dropped. They are fine. You are more bothered than the puppy

Unless you have worked in a shelter and face countless unwanted dogs which is heartbreaking, consider the comments for proper dog ownership. If parents give dog as Christmas presents they are unfit, if parents allow kids to scream at a puppy is abuseive.

Smh🙄. What if they get them May 2? Do you think they are being treated like toys then? THEY AREN'T BEING TREATED LIKE TOYS YOU POTATOES. All that matters is they are cared for and loved for life. While some gifts are abandoned, most aren't. Yet, some will choose their own pet and dump them. You can't control it and you just assume they all are going to forget about them after. I don't think any of you trolling these videos (and you are all trolls) actually want anyone to have a pet.
