A very interesting plane, and a very nice technique of making rivets and painting them. But I did catch one painting error here. You also covered the gaps between the ailerons, elevator and rudder in the same way as the rivets. Therefore, it seems to me that it is better to make these elements as separate ones at the assembly stage (cut out). It also adds realism. The model, however, impresses with its painting and appearance.

Wonderful! That is one of the best looking built models I have seen. A B5N2 "Kate" from the carrier Shokaku. Excellent work!

Amazing work, love to see these excellent Hasegawa kits being built! Question: what is the green tape you use for guiding you when you rivet?
@negi-AircraftModel Жыл бұрын
That green tape is one of the cheapest and most available architectural masking tapes in my country. Maybe the English name is "Curing tape" ・Low adhesion ・Sufficient firmness ・Sufficient thickness It doesn't matter which tape you choose if it has this feature. Thank you for your question.

Beautiful work. What was the purpose of the putty in the wings? Was it to give the wings some extra strength when the rivets were being done?
@negi-AircraftModel Жыл бұрын
The reason I used putty is to fill in gaps.thanks for your comment!

Stunning result. Question: - why is the plane so glosy?
@negi-AircraftModel Жыл бұрын
Because this was made at the request of a model airplane collector. Its collectors prefer the gloss finish style.
