Selling land by co-sharer or co-owners of Joint property from Khana e khana e kasht (Khana Kasht Bay or Khana Kasht se Zameern Khareedna) through mutation (Inteqal) may lead to create problems for purchaser / Vendee, if the name of vendee is not entered also in Column of ownership. You might have seen two types of columns i.e column of ownership (khana Malkiat) and column of cultivation (Khana Kasht) on FARD. In this video, I have tried to explain what is Khana Kasht and how fraud is being committed. I have referred two reported judgments 2019 C L C 335 and PLD 1959 SC 09 which relates to sale/ purchase from Khana Kasht.
