Her mum was the proudest when her daughter held up her gold medal on the world stage. This woman will lead nz to another world cup victory in the future.

Inspirational. I've seen a few sports people stories lately which shows just how tough the journey can be at times. But champions push though while the rest us mere mortals watch on in awe.

best goal attack nz has ever had.fantastic goal shoot and fearless player.2nd best player of all time , but equal first in results.As captain unbeaten in any comp,to this very day.

I remember watching her play 4 the firebirds and she had potential then. Now she has become a star shooter and captain of the sf. Love seeing her growth. She's amazing and I'm glad she represents nz.

@1min 35secs as the camera scrolls across the black ferns on the court i honestly dont think ive seen a greater line up of legends in any NZ sport before, dont get me wrong ive loved league and rugby but to see that line up was inspiring, Thank you Ameliaranne for choosing this whenua to represent....nga mihi.
