If this is Formula One, all cars would just sound the same. This is why I'm still a huge fan of GT racing (despite restarted watching Formula One in 2020 because of Netflix).

because GT cars have different engine specification despite equal HP as set by the regulation. That's why each car have different sound. Unlike current F1 which used 1.6 Turbo Hybrid V6 engine which generated over 1000BHP for every car.

@FAT8893: yea, sound of these cars is amazing. We’d better enjoy it, while we can, because the era of the combustion engine in racing, is nearing its end, & then its the dreaded electric racing; racing will never be the same again😢

@@fioralbannach6647 Totally agree. I do watch Formula E, and it totally disappoints me with no engine sound. Literally, the only reason to watch Formula E is because of the track action.

Perfect for audiophiles! My favourite GT3 sounds are 1. AMG when going into a braking zone 2. BMW onboard 3. Audi when on the pit lane (a strange sort of purr)

The new Ford Mustang GT3 isn't allowed at the Bathurst 12h yet. What you probably saw is one of the MARC cars. Some of them have a Mustang body shell, they are quite a bit slower than GT3 cars though.

@@craigyirush3492 Yes but the Mustang isn't homologated by the FIA yet. The FIA homologation test is in March, since Bathurst is in February cars need to be at least one year old.
