I have purchased the Highway 600 and fitted it today. At home after first installing it, I picked up 33 stations, this is the norm for the area I live in. Went out to Bangor, reception just fell off continuously until, well frankly it was appalling. Called into Halfords where I bought it, they looked at how I’d fitted it, not wanting to sound big headed, they seemed impressed, concluded that perhaps it was a faulty unit. Bugged me during early evening and I went out to fiddle about with it. I noticed that the magnetic earthing strip wasn’t connecting to the actual roof but a bracing piece, maybe these are bonded to the roof not welded. I drilled a small hole through the brace and the magnet fixed to the roof good and proper. Took the car out for a run, signal was 100% better. So making sure the magnet is properly attached looks to be important. Halfords were willing to exchange the whole kit without quibble even though I’d fitted it.

Hey, is there a way to save multiple stations on the transmitter at the same time? It can be a hassle having to click around alot and do it all over again if the one station I choose didn't work properly. I don't know if this is a feature or not because I didn't find anything in the manual about it, sometimes it takes so long to find the best station for the area. Thank you, I love this product but I really want this feature☹

Can you add an external antenna to this device?

Is the Highway 200/400/600 compatible with a dab-splitter instead of the windscreen aerial?

Does the unit 'speak with' and 'connect to' two phones or only one?

If the device controller no longer works (the little plastic buttons have fallen out), can you replace the controller for a new one or it is paired to the one receiver only?

Ive been trying to update my DAB Highway 600 antenna - i've downloaded the update and unpluggedthe USB cable & plugged it into my PC. But as soon as I do that I can't get my controller to power up and set the USB setting to update. I can plug it back in to the FM USB and it powers up but it doesnt stay active long enough to set it to update then unplug and connect to the PC . Basically its impossible to update by PC it as it wont actually connect! Any ideas?

Does my existing car radio need to be working to install this? I ordered one because I cant find my radio code to power the original back on so thought I may as well upgrade to DAB.

Can you play from your phone your own music library with Pure go 400 ?

The only drawback to this unit is the favourite presets. If you change DAB stations frequently You have to hold the button down then turn the knob to find which preset you want.

Ive got a 600. I installed it today eventually synced phone and got people to be able to hear me. All good so far. I was sitting in my front room and had to go out to the van and unplug the power lead from the socket as the bluetooth would not disconnect. Any ideas?

My Pure Highway 400 intermittently stops display and sticks on whatever setting it last used, when last used on Spotify it seems to log on but doesn't play, the same for bluetooth, only giving about a second of sound before stopping, when it was on Digital radio it will play the last station tuned in and won't change. Now it is looking for antenna connection when display came back on, tried to reset, but will not pair, still playing Digital radio on last selection. How do I reset?

All of a sudden mine stopped working and wouldn't pair with the antenna. I have tried resetting and re pairing the controller with the antenna a number of times following the instructions and it still doesn't work now.

How well does the DAB ariel work with a heated front screen that has the wires in it effectively working a little like a faraday cage?

Would this work with heated screen ? My front and rear are both heated and a 5 door car so can't use the rear windows ?

Why isn't there a iso connection, or hard wire option? all this cabling . power adaptor and control box on the screen makes it look very "Halfords" ive had an older 300di unit, which simply plugged into the iso leads, much neater....

I installed mine but the antennae simply would not pair with the control. I notice that the connector of the adhesive seemed to be just plastic. Should there be some visible connectors

Does the bracket on the command unit swivel?

If I 'purely' (no pun intended) just wanted to use the Bluetooth streaming part of the product and didn't care about DAB do I still need the controller unit? I assume the real business end is the receiver box? I've tried everywhere to find a simple fm/aux bluetooth transmitter that has an external microphone and out of hundreds on the market this is the only thing that is closest. Why do manufacturers believe that a 'built in' mic is actually of any use? . People serious about calling on the move need external mics.

I've just fitted the highway 600 to my daughter's vehicle. When she is listening to music from her Spotify through the device after a short time the connection breaks and just goes to static. We have not connected the aux cord because it is not long enough to reach the port in the car, is this the reason it is disconnecting?

Pure go app is ass, can’t connect spotify to it no matter what i do. I have premium, i logged in and pressed the accept button to link it and nothing happened. When i am connected to the highway 400 via bluetooth the music on my phone pauses automatically half a second after i start it.

Nowadays there are such good antennas. why isn't it all in one? I think everything should be in the device so that the customer only connects to electricity.

cant reset this pure bad quality product play one station on display are writing connecting to antenna have trying to reset many times doesn't work, for money what spend one year used not worth to buy.

My antenna won’t turn on. It’s zero sign to life.

Window antennae are awful. My advice, always use a roof mounted DAB specific car aerial connected to a 12v source (usually from the rear of the car audio head unit), this way you are pretty much guaranteed a good reception wherever you go.

Its to advanced. Really not easy to use

Save your time and effort. Just go buy an aftermarket dab radio. These are awful. A nightmare to fit. Nothing sticks. Just not worth the hassle. Going straight back.

Utterly useless. Trim on windscreen on Skoda Yeti is completely adhered to the windscreen. 5 minutes of prising ( as carefully as possible) to create a gap between the two cracked my windscreen. Hopeless design. Avoid!
