@@panictll I’ll be real: the animation memes don’t bother me nearly as much as the straight reuploads and extended versions. Someone making their own derivative version of it is still actually doing work, and even those trying to replicate the style are learning something by forcing themselves to draw in that style. Gachalife uploaders are also usually teenagers or children, so it’s not surprising. But the people doing straight up reuploads of OP’s work or looping the animation shittily to the original version are blatantly engagement farming. Sometimes these extended versions pop up in the top of my KZfaq search when I’m looking for the original song. It’s also incredibly disrespectful IMO when the original was taken down due to mass reporting for mature content-they’re essentially relying on not having the same massive audience while still using the OP’s work, and violating KZfaq TOS to boot.

Some info I think my fellow western people might need While Miku has a market age of 16 she doesn't have a canonical age as that would be limiting for the vocaloid artists using her voice bank. Much like how Rin and Len despite originally being marketed as twins are neither confirmed siblings nor lovers. So the artists can change Miku's age to whatever they need her to be for the song. If anything Miku's age is the same as the actual singer used to make her voice bank. Edit about the Purepure thing. It is Miku and was never confirmed as a new character and that the whole thing about "she is purepure not Miku" is just misinformation being spread around without any actual substance. @@nuhuh-p1g relaying info from other comments, hope this helps with the confusion: - deco*27, the maker of the song, has keyring merch in website otoiro that he promotes in his own yt channel and the description in otoiro clearly says it's depicting hatsune miku. furthermore, most of his songs have its own versions of miku with different designs that doesn't look like miku at all, but they are as said by deco merch as well. - channel, the animator, confirmed she's miku on his x account and said he only cut her hair short cuz the original long hair made the swaying look unnatural. he also said in a post that the changes were not made to add any originality. - miku has a bunch of other looks than her default design. miku has white hair and two eye colors in project sekai 25-ji, and in project diva she has multiple designs with different hair lengths and colors, as well as designs that make u go "wait that was miku??" like brilliant butterfly module that's full on purple or rosa bianca module. - miku doesn't have a canon personality, by the way. her personality depends on the song or the story that people want to tell. project sekai is it's own story, for example, and has different versions and personality for miku for each group

It always irritates me how much people that will do little to no effort and steals your videos, I've seen countless situation where a Content creator is experiencing problems with people that just steals their video and uploads them on a different platform and calling themselves the original creator. One of the most irritating one i found was when a content creator got a message from a platform called Facebook. This account was asking about he should stop "stealing" his "videos". It is utterly frustrating to see such situations. And im guessing you're also dealing with such problems too? Where someone steals and just doesnt give credit or maybe even something worse.

In anonomouys m, she is 16, but ts true that miku isnt a real human and probably doesnt have an age and is just a robot, proving your point true. Some people think that pure pure was a character that is just miku with shorter hair and pink extentions to the artiat could put her in 18+ or s*xualized situations, but this is pure pure and since that miku doesnt have a cannon age, if that was her then the author could have made her 28+ or an adult.

Some vocaloids do have canon ages, part of their character too, examples are Yuki (9), Miku (16-17), Kagamines (14). ^^ And, Vocaloids do actually count as characters and not just voices!!

Did you know pure pure isn’t actually a real Vocaloid The song is actually just sung by Miku And I know Miku is a 16-year-old But that was only for marketing reasons she doesn’t actually have an age
