I combined wind charmers with magician girls in and it works really well! So much draw power!

I love the Charmers, i try to play them on Master Duel in a different way with the familiars, but this is definitly something i can also build with the same cards! Gonna test it today, thx for it! Left a subscribtion in case you have more awesome decks :D

Oh yeah also i thought of running Magicians Circle to swarm the field a bit faster, not sure which card to remove tho.

@@CojonesMuchoGrande Thanks so much for the kind words, we really appreciate it! Magicians Circle is definitely a good card to run, could maybe drop one of the Fairy Tail monsters of one of the other spells to 1 instead of 2 (:

I really hope to see more supports for Charmers, I wanna see some more spells/traps maybe more monsters of the new familiars shown from the link variants, and possibly an extra deck boss monster that supports the deck with a win condition.

Agreed! A proper boss monster would be really cool, one that could play with attributes/negates, or allow you to use old school charmer traps from hand or something, so much potential!

@@themisplay2325 exactly what I had thought. Attribute searches or special summons and negations or pop effect. Something like "this card can attack # of monsters on your opponent's field based on the number of attributes you control" or "destroy a # of cards on the field by banishing/shuffling to the deck a 'Charmer' or 'Familiar-Possessed' monster of a different attribute from the GY."

@@themisplay2325 it would be like a pseudo - Accesscode Talker but only affecting Charmers or Familiar-Possessed monsters which is perfect. There also had to be ways to search the field spell and the quick-play spell

I enjoy playing my pure charmer deck as well !!! The field spell isn’t that good but because they’re all spellcasters they can REALLY benefit from - “Secret Village of The Spellcasters” I know it’s kinda a floodgate but it gives you the time to setup so I love it. I don’t see much people using it but In my Extra Deck I play - “Performage Trapeze Magician” he is not a charmer but his effects in combination with the - “Awakening of The Possessed” spell is just to good to pass up.

Secret Village is definitely a card everyone should consider running, I actually advise doing so because Ichirin isn't even searchable

The field spell is nasty. If you leave a charmer off the field, you can chain the trap to a monster effect, bring out a charmer, then negate the monster effect while it resolves.

I really like this version of the deck, I'll surely try it out! I am interested in seeing a bit more competitive version, do you happen to have anyone? I mean, I know it won't ever be competitive, but at least something you can bring at your local without being completed destroyed by pretty much any played deck out there eheh. Charmers really suffers from firsts turns as they pretty much always just normal summon, just an interruption from your opponent can mess up completely your turn, and when going second, there are good chances you won't be able to deal with even a mediocre board with just one negation and a card destruction or something.

Whilst we haven't had time to work on a completely competitive build, if you are going first and want to be competitive I highly advise cards like mind drain and skill drain, and if you have the money forbidden droplet, they shut your opponent down and force them to play your game. Also consider basic hand traps yourself :)

Watch the reason we don't have a Dahrc link yet is because he's going to be the boss monster and that gains attack every time you draw or add a card to the hand using an effect from the archetype

Honestly that would be cool, or something like 'when this card is link summoned draw cards up to the number of different attributes of familiar possessed monsters in your GY' or something

They also don't have Dharc alternate art yet either. Possibly that and his Link counterpart will come with more support like a continuous trap that let's you change the Attribute on the field and graveyard at any given time once per turn. And more recovery cards and protection cards.

@@themisplay2325 I've been getting some suggestions on the deck, main thing is people feel that there's too many monsters in the deck, though i think since you want the multiple elements there it works well. Metaverse instead of terraforming might be good since you can set the field card from your deck instead of just to the hand.

@@skyeshi3570 The issue with metaverse is because we are a go second deck, it becomes a dead card in our hand, so terraforming allows us to thin the deck whilst also potentially getting use of Ichirin right away

@@skyeshi3570 The reason 2 field spells and a terraforming are often better than three field spells is because it mills the deck, you don't want to draw into a second field spell, terraforming allows you to limit the possibility

No unfortunately not, if you have two face up you will only get to draw one card, but their attack boosts do stack!

Out of curiosity (and I'm literally *just* returning to the hobby after almost a decade of absence, so this may be a stupid question), but why do you run Ichirin in this over Secret Village of the Spellcasters? I've tooled around with the Structure Deck a bit, and I've found infinitely more mileage out of Secret Village than I have from Ichirin-to the point that it can sometimes be a flat-out instant win against certain decks. And I like your suggestion of Skill Drain in this deck. In fact, I think it would pair really well with Secret Village. Either way, awesome deck! I love your take on the archetype.

Secret Village is definitely much better overall, I personally am not a fan of Ichirin hence advising to opt out, I just like to try and keep things a bit more in theme, and Ichirin technically being a Charmer card means it got the spot over Secret Village, despite being worse, I agree haha

@@themisplay2325 Ahhh, that certainly makes sense! It's always fun to build on-theme, so I can definitely see where you're coming from there. In my headcanon, Secret Village is where all the Charmers practice their magic and live with their familiars, so that's how I rationalize it still being "on-theme" in my own head, lol. xD Thanks for the feedback, bud! I'll be sure to check out more of your deck profiles. EDIT: Oh! And as a request (if you take those), do you think you'd ever do a Ice Barriers build? :O That's what I decided on running myself IRL now, and I've been really loving seeing so many different people's take on the deck!

@@Sanguivore We had a build for Witchcrafter a while ago and ran Secret Village in there as they don't have a field spell. It's a strong lock, and in Charmer if paired with Skill Drain, you can see a lot of success! We actually have an Ice Barrier deck! We aren't playing it currently as it seems to struggle heavily against our other decks, but we will definitely bring it back soon!

@@Sanguivore Witchcrafter is super fun and consistent, but can often die to a single Ash. A quick effect board negate is so powerful though. They're getting support next year so may be worth picking up!
