Your videos inspire me!!!! I'm 42yr old retired Iraq veteran and now financially in a position where I can truly fulfill my dream of dirt racing. I don't know if I could even change a tire on a street stock, but I want to learn, I want to race!!!! Seeing your videos has shown me, a little hard work, good people around you, and passion ,someone indeed can go racing.

Helm Built the Fan shroud is off of a Chevrolet Tahoe or trailblazer. It could be a full size truck shroud. One of the 3! My FIL owns a junkyard so we dig around until we find something that works and cut it to fit! Saves money!! 👌

Thanks for the entertainment ! From Sumter county south Carolina! My son spent his life at the dirt track with me from illnois to Georgia I started taking him With me at 16 months and his first race was at 16 in which he won! Now he takes his three boys with him and there fully involved ! Lol. Great harmless pass -time . if your buying race parts there's no extra time or money for trouble!

This car is similar to the on we race up here in NC. Our car uses 4 barrel carb on a cast intake. We call them Thunder Bombers

10:27 - 10:58 There's his kid, in the back running. If you watch the next 30 sec. Youll see a good dad, continue to talk about racing, filming, and STILL EYE CHECKING his son. There's no reason some of these parents leave their children in a hot car.

I go to dirt tracks too. I'm going to Belle-Clair speedway tonight be cause my grandpa is racin tonight and he races a 1957 ford that he built from the ground up. I live in Illinois. I'm going to Bellville Il.

Those ignition wires to distributer ........ When I ran Demolition Derby , we always silicone that wire to the cap to keep it from popping lose ! We also done same thing to spark plug wire caps to avoid them popping off spark plugs !

great video! just wondering how this is called pure stock when it has a tube chassis and sheet metal attached not in a stock way? i think enduro cars are really true stock cars at most tracks! good luck and stay safe!

lee kurtz In most cases it’s a stock Monte Carlo frame with a roll cage added. Stock suspension, with different springs and shocks.

Not a tube chassis. It just has a roll cage on a stock 82 Monte Carlo frame. All suspension components are stock except springs. No racing shocks. Stock GM rear ends. Motor and transmission are also stock production only. No standards. TH350 in my car. So the only things that aren’t very stock are the aluminum bodies. These original bodies are hard to find! Must have a factory roof though! Thanks for watching!

I was just going to say , my coil distributor hot wire used to come from like that too, so I started RTV ing mine in on the distributor cap, good , job , but his car was smoking too, lol, nice job thanks BigAl California.praise Jesus grace Christ amen 🙏.

I knew it was distributor wire because my dad was leading heat and the same thing happen lost power then it came on and off so I knew first thing

Nice they let u build the entire body. IMCA, and USRA made us use factory roof and pillars. Looked like an open motor with holly 2bbl? I like the crates better... way more Torque off the corner. 1/4 inch twist in the frame makes er tight, but way fast🤭🤫😉 looser isn’t faster anymore

These are the lame an boring version of stock cars here in new zealand we use old Sudan's mustangs Ford's put roll cages in them then race them with full contact
