Kudos to Jesse and Anna, but for me Alyssa is the rockstar! Going up the roof, pulling it up, hammering it, putting screws, going down again and again. Probably will be editing videos later tonight and cook some dinner. Gosh! Super Wife!!!

Allysa, you are amazing! If I still owned my construction company I would hire you in an instant. Just a suggestion, wear a tool belt. Put the screws in a pocket, drill a hole in base of hammer and tie to belt, anchor drill to belt as well. You can then hammer and screw in one run which will save a lot of time and energy! Love what you guys are doing and the fact that you discuss all your errors and thought processes.

You needed more safety brackets for your fall ropes. If she fell from the present location she would likely be dangled across sharp metal or worse, over the eave itself. That's how people break spines. You can hang the brackets over panels, too, so it needed to be moved sooner if you only had one. Wood blocking with carpet allows you to be over a metal panel. Just spread the weight over a pair. Snap lock ribs are not the best to use channel locks on to set up on, but conventional ribs would have allowed that. The conventional panels have to be seamed which is running an 80 pound rolling machine up and down each rib. Conventional are sturdier ribs, but make it difficult to repair any individual panels. Snap locks are great if a limb were to damage a panel, because you can undo that individual panel easy enough.

Throw a bungee strap over your see saw once you get your stack of roof panels on there so no others decide to fly away! It'll still allow you guys to slide the panels off but keep em held down (although I know at this point in time the roof is already done and my suggestion is too late to help =D)

Jesse you hit the family jackpot with Anna, what a trooper. Given the profile of your roofing spans, it's not surprising you are keeping to a true square, unlike sips and almost every other building material, roofing is pressure rolled from coils of sheet normally 100+ meters in length then guillotined at the length the customer requires. Given the height and angle of each of the 2 raised ridges, you would have to make a monumental bulls up to get out of square after the original span has been laid. Looking good so far. Keep up the good work.
