I was planning for Puri Road trip since June 2022, gone through all available kolkata to puri road trip videos in youtube. But, your video/vlog is probably the best documented and informative videos among all available videos i have came across. I have successfully completed puri road trip with my wife and 3.5 yrs old daughter, started journey 4th of October at 5.40 AM and reached puri by 3 PM, returned journey started on 7th of October at 7 AM and reached home safely at 3.30 PM. From your video, I was aware in advance when diversions could come, bumpers and stray cows etc. Anyone planning for puri road trip, can refer this vlog, this is really helpful. 👌

Most of the bloggers didn't mention about diversions & high sharp bumpers in this route. But you mentioned this matters in your blog. Low ground clearance cars 🚗 not suitable in this route until the entire road will be completed. Thanks,

11:16 , as per MORTH notification, it is illegal to construct speed bumps on national highways and toll roads. Rumble strips can be put up or zig zag barricades can be set up during rush/peak hours.

If traveling at Night check for bumpers before the diversions and stray cows right in the middle of the road

Normal tyres given by Hyundai is ok. If u want to do some off-roading then go for all terrain tyres but those would make a lot of noise in the city/highway.. For quieter road noise go for Michelin XM2

Driving in low beam, on Indian roads is an hazard. If you have a oncoming vehicle, dip your beam. Switch back to high beam once crossing is done. Else unpleasant surprises will be your continuous companion.

Eat light, drink a lot of water n u should be fine. Also look out for cows on the road

@@TravelAdrift With break just ekbar breakfast korechilam balasore then tana ashole amader speed chilo 120 to 130kmph. Garia theke start korechilam 5:30 am and puri pouche gachilam around 2pm er modhe satragachi te jam chilo onek and breakfast tao 30mins er moto chilo.

120-130 kmph -- bapre...Before Cuttack around 20-30km kintu Orissa te prochur speed trap. 100+ a monehoy 2000 rs fine. Kono ekta vlog a dekhchilam...Plus ami raate chalachilam bole 90-100 cross korini...more than 60-70% travel korechilam 85kmph in Cruise.
